Lovely, comfortable stay

Not so splendid. Well located, but unacceptably filthy.

Location is excellent. Just a short walk from restaurants and shopping.

The cleanliness of the unit was unacceptable. The fridge freezer clearly has not been cleaned for several months and having previous guest's meat left overs and expired juice bottles everywhere was simply awful. Ironically the helpers name on the info card was "Forget" - quite appropriate under the circumstances. When a freezers ice has aggregated to 5 inches thick, you know someone has forgotten to do their job for a long long time.

Exactly as per the pictures and the third little bedroom was a nice surprise :) Nearby to bars, restaurants, shops. Modern & cozy.

Stellen Cute!

Good location, close to town and shops. Great garden space, loved it outdoors. Inside parking. Loved the cute kitchen. Pack up and go, but in general, it was a nice amazing for a stay over.

I had to ask people where the place is. I didn't know the building name, so please advise when booked. The front door and gate have a look at. We called the owner, but there was no answer for instructions.

Nice fully equipped self catering accommodation in the centre of Stellenbosch. Great value for money

I loved the location, as well as the wonderful comfy bed, crisp clean linen and warm fluffy blankets.

There were just 3 glasses and 4 wine glasses as far as I could see, but everything else were great. There was even an air fryer too.

I travel a lot and will definitely come back to Splendor on Dorp. If you want to visit Stellenbosch this is an ideal place, you can walk everywhere. Keep in mind it is a student town.

The flat was fine. It was central which is what we wanted.

It was great to be in the heart of the students living in Stellenbosch, but it was very noisy.

There weren’t enough towels for the three of us, there was no soap in the shower. Even though it’s self catering, just a small cake of soap for a one-night stay would be helpful. The wifi information was incorrect and the wifi didn’t work.

Splendid stay at Splendour on Dorp

The interior was beautifully done. We loved all the appliances like the washing machine, tumble dryer and air fryer.

Although the location was good there was a lot of noise from the surrounding pubs that kept going until late into the night. We think there is also quite a lot of students living in the complex...
