Small, but perfectly formed

Location not too far from the town centre. Good shower. Nice to have outside table. Little kitchenette well equipped (I especially like that there is a cafetière). Adaptors for plugs (there could be more sockets). Quiet. Small, but but well appointed and fine for a night or two.

I'd have preferred a double bed to two twins pushed together. The fan works OK but air-con would be better.

Poor Facilities and not up to Booking.com standards, as we have used Booking.com before.

There was no breakfast, but we were aware of this. On arrival, the welcome and reception was inadequate. We were about 10 minutes late, but I had notified them. The room was clean to a point. The carpet between the beds was very dirty and the place was not as clean as we were expecting. The bathroom basin was so small, that when you turned on the tap, the water flowed over onto the floor. The bathroom definitely needs to be upgraded!! Black "mould" on the ceiling and also in the room. We had no room service, and it stated that if we wanted this facility, we would have to pay extra. Our bins were not even emptied, and we had no extra bin bags, in order to sort out the bin usage. The toilet was never cleaned, so by the end of our three nights, it was not smelling good, and there was nothing to clean it with (which is what we would have done). The ventilation was very poor and the fan very low!! Basically the room was exceptionally small and certainly not good value for what we paid. I would definitely not recommend this as a place to stay. When we left, we were not even asked if we had had a good stay. We handed over the keys and left!!

Location good. Quiet and nice area. Decor v nice Room fairly small and although had an outside area not really that great. Also a dog at property which made one nervous partic re sitting outside.

Comfort and beauty.

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable stay. Well thought through with attention to detail. Coffee (plunger and instant), teas and milk, salt and peper and cold drinking water, dishwashing liquid and soap in bathroom provided. Enjoyed the outside seating under the beautiful leopard tree. Easy parking right in front of unit. Comfort in all aspects

The one unit tends to be quite hot and does not cool down even with the ceiling fan but being able sit outside made up for this.

I loved that somebody was on site at all times, we felt safe leaving everything there. Very nice people. Room had just about everything you need.

No A/C so it was a bit hot for us personally. So if I were to go back, I wouldn't go in summer time.

The property is very central to Stellenbosch University and within walking distance of all facilities and amenities. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The host was very friendly and the collection of property keys was very easy. Parking was safe and secure.

It was beautifully furnished. All you need.

Guests checking in after 23:00 drunk. I had to help them get their keys. No staff to check them in. Rooms are definitely not soundproof.

Comfortable stay with great hosts

The hosts were very good, and helpful to us after we had experienced a break-in to our car elsewhere in town. They were really caring! Also the room was nice and comfortable and in a very convenient location to the university. Recommend highly! Also good communication to pick up keys.

Clean room and bathroom, comfy beds with electric blankets, rusks, coffee and milk provided, close to central Stellenbosch.

Not a dislike but the shower takes a long time to warm up. Also a heater in this cold weather would have been great! Lots of student noise on Saturday night.
