Modern & elegant refurb in an old heritage building. A lovely property to stay in. Bathrooms & linens are top notch.

Aircon started leaking in a pretty bad way, creating puddles of water on Saturday night. But speedily resolved once we notified the staff. And our deluxe room faced the busy Riebeeck street - that was uncomfortable on Thursday and Friday nights when the town was abuzz. Also wish breakfast was on offer. It would be worth adding a small continental menu, for a surcharge. Just scones, croissants, ham, cheese and cut fruit. Nothing more would be worthwhile

Central Stellenbosch

Very central, in the middle of Stellenbosch with easy walking to many restaurants, museums etc. Safe parking and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Who were fabulous. Very clean and comfortable with a very nice bed and linens.

It’s on a main thoroughfare so the road is noisy, parking is tight but easily manageable.

Beautiful small apartment with the best outdoor shower

Location, perfect. Spotlessly clean. Brand newly refurbished. Outside shower was to die for. Great free tea & coffee. Staff incredibly friendly & happy. Reception bathroom was lovely to use, the sound of birdsong was a cute touch.

Bath towels were wonderfully clean, soft & fluffy - but no hand towels supplied. No power supply by any of the mirrors which made hair drying tricky. Patio doors lead out to communal space, potential for it to be noisy should a guest decide to sit outside your patio door.

I’d rate the stay there 3/10 there was a few things that was nice the bed is very comfortable, the rooms nice but the stay was very unpleasant, the cleaning lady was kind and honest.

I have traveled to to a lot of hotels across South Africa, China and Europe, this was the first time I was accused of harassing a receptionist/manager by the owner, also accused of playing music from my room when I wasn’t at that time, and also the only dispute I have had at a hotel, no feedback from the owner and being ignored when trying to explain the situation, I’m truly not a difficult person but they made me feel like I was, my point of view was dismissed and ignored, I was handled with prejudice. I would’ve given my perspective to the owner directly but since there is no space given for that I’m using this space, they have a low noise policy that they tell you after the booking but in reality it’s more like a no noise policy, and I wasn’t even making noise at a point when they asked me not to make noise , the WiFi was horrible too, and I didn’t feel comfortable in the hotel in the room it was like walking on egg shells.

Was lovely except for the noise and not being able to warm up food & not having cutlery /plates.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and accommodating as well as the location ( close to shops,ect), loved the aesthetics and simplicity of booking & checking -in. I loved the coffee and all the other facilities provided :)

Initially, I was sharing a room with my mother ahead of her hip operation the following day, but due to her snoring and my lack of sleep, I decided to book my own room for some much-needed rest and to catch up on work. Unfortunately, after checking in to my new room, I was unable to stay there at all. There was significant construction noise directly outside my window, where workers were cutting tiles/bricks (or something similar). The noise was extremely loud and made it impossible to rest or work. This was especially disappointing as I had booked the room specifically to have a quiet, peaceful space after an incredibly stressful few days. In addition, given my mother’s limited mobility and the rainy weather, she was unable to walk with me to nearby restaurants. The lack of a microwave and basic cutlery (other than two teaspoons and a small bowl) in the room made it difficult to provide her with a warm meal. I eventually managed to get her some soup from a restaurant, but she had to eat it with the teaspoon provided. I would strongly recommend considering the addition of a small microwave and basic cutlery in rooms for guests who may be unable to eat out for every meal.

Location - close to the amazing restaurants for an evening walk. Beautiful interior. Even an electric blanket for the cold.

Noisy. Other guests bang their doors when coming in and leaving. I recommend installing a soft close optiop. There is also the church bell on the Sunday if you wanted to sleep past 7. Wouldn't recommend if you want to catch up on sleep, but great for seeing the town.

Location was excellent. Fabulous restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Diana who was an absolute delight.

Wow we were blown away with just about everything. This property is extremely well equipped where everything works and is of high standard. The spaces are well thought out and there is more room than expected. It has been beautifully renovated.
