If you are planning a trip to Assisi, you couldn’t go wrong with Il Duomo.

I’ll Duomo was centrally located in an upper part of Assisi which made it easy to get to upon arrival. Stephano and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Like most other hotels in centuries-old buildings, space was a challenge but the designers were very creative. This was easily the largest bathroom I’ve encountered and my wife had plenty of space to organize her supplies. The little patio (shared) with conversation tables was a welcome extra. The breakfast was generous with plenty of options for most tastes.

Considering what most facilities are like in classical Italy, there was really nothing to complain about.

Great location, but parking is a bit confusing regarding if non-resident can park inside the city wall or not.

Room directly open to street, a bit noisy. Staff was not very fluent with English.

The facilities were nice but the hilly ascend to the building was difficult for us since we were all seniors. Additionally the staff was not very friendly..

Lovely staff, good location.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and assisted with travel arrangements.

The rooms allocated to us were in awkward locations within the hotel and right by the street door, which made them noisy. This wasn’t mentioned in any information given. Also, we weren’t warned before we arrived that there would be an electricity cut from 4am to 9am on the first day of our arrival. We had no hot water for showers or lights for breakfast.

Disappointing

Nice location in town.

Hotel had said there was an elevator to the floor of guest rooms: technically correct but the elevator did not start on the ground floor, so we walked up two flights to reach it. Also, there was parking but it was about 200 yards from the hotel in a public lot!
