This was not a problem for me, but one has to go up 3 or 4 steps to get to the elevator. Get help if your luggage is heavy.

Perfect Assisi place to stay!

Perfect location to visit Assisi. Basilica of St. Clare around the corner. Very close to the Basilica where lies St. Carlo Acutis. Rooms clean and comfortable. Price is right with breakfast available.

Comfortable. Perfect location in Assisi.

The location is perfect, just a few steps to the Basilica Santa Chiara and the city center of Assisi. The hotel is average but all well organized and working. Breakfast is basic but has almost all you need (not many fruit options). The room for 3 people is spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a few days in Assisi!

It is not a big hotel but the breakfast room is a bit small, even if there are a couple of groups eating there. It did not really bother me, but I guess it would be the only almost negative thing.

Clean, family run place in great location

As you would expect for a 2 star hotel, it is basic which is what I wanted but I have to say it exceeded my expectations: The location is very central, at one entrance to the old town, a 2 minute walk from the Santa Chiara basilica. The room was large (I booked a triple) and clean with very basic but clean decoration. The shower was excellent. I had a view facing the street on the 3rd floor and my view was stunning (see photo). The roof terrace is also very nice (although for when I stayed it would have been bring your own chair and glass of whatever you like).

Just be very mindful that the check in and checkout times are quite narrow windows. I an aware that it does state this on Booking but just be super aware that you have to check out before 10am. I needed to store my bags as my train was not til 2pm and I was told I could just leave them in the hallway by the breakfast room. Not ideal, but I had to trust. Nothing happened to the bags so all good. The biggest challenge I had was with the sound of the aircon. The unit in the room let out a tremendous creak every 7 minutes or so, even when ot ws not on. I did not sleep the first night and complained to front desk where I was told this is normal. So I bought earplugs for my second night. It didn't fully solve the problem but it helped. I could hear similar noises coming from other rooms so I would just warn anyone who is a light sleeper to take this into consideration. I stayed in June when it was 39°C. Clearly not going to be an issue in colder months. Breakfast was available (8-9.30) - very basic but did the job!

The location is splendid. The shower is unbelievable! I would stay only for the shower!

The room was very clean with a good sized bed and the window looked out onto the glorious plain of Assisi. I have no complaints.

It would have been helpful to have coffee and tea facilities in the room. And it would have been helpful if breakfast had been earlier (7.30am perhaps) as I had to catch a train and the poor waitress was so overwhelmed with coffee orders at breakfast that in the end I left without a coffee.

Friendly & helpful hosts. In the heart of Assisi, close to everything. An optional breakfast buffet is offered, it has good variety of breakfast foods. Lovely terrace is available to sit outside and see the view.

The best room in Assisi!

Steps or elevator - whatever your whim or need! Room 76 is wonderful, with its own balcony overlooking the entire valley of Perugia. The owners and staff are wonderful and tolerant of my weak Italian!

The hair dryer is a menace, but it works.

Kind and thoughtful staff that gave me recommendations on where to eat, good breakfast, clean room with comfortable bathroom and good Wi-Fi.

My room happened to be facing the Main Street so it was a bit noisy at night, but otherwise everything was great. I had a lovely stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff - they just couldn't do enough for you. I booked a single room and was given a triple - bonus! Perfect location, near main square and near the beautiful Santa Chiara. Wonderful terrace with views of the valley.

I was on the top floor with sloping ceilings and I banged my head several times... I think I would ask for a room on a lower floor next time. Much noise coming from the street, unfortunately - but that was not the hotel's fault.

Overall, I would stay again on my next visit to Assisi.

The hotel is in a great location, easy walking to most everywhere. My room was quite big (bigger than I expected.)

The bed & pillows are on the FIRM side which is the only negative about my room. I did have some noisy neighbors across the hall (but that is not any fault of the hotel.)

Nice hotel in the centre of Assisi

A wonderful little hotel in the centre of Assisi with a lovely terrace overlooking the Umbrian hills that one can enjoy in peace. Price very reasonable.

A part of the room and the bathroom are slanted (in the attic) which isn't great if you're a tall person like me.

Perfect location reasonable price

It’s right at the entrance to the old quarters, next to Santa Chiara. The price was very reasonable and the room functional, bathroom also good, we even had a small balcony.
