Vista su Palazzo Vecchio

The location was so central to all the major sights in Florence. It was only a two minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and there were views of Giotto’s Bell Tower from two of the bedrooms which was wonderful to view at night when the tower was lit up! Martina, our host was lovely, very helpful and responded to all our requests quickly. We stayed during Europe’s worst heatwave in recorded history, so having 5 air-conditioning units that worked very well within the property was a life saver! The property was very large and comfortable. There were only 3 of us staying and having our own rooms (space) and a bathroom each to ourselves was a welcome comfort after travelling together for a month. There are a lot of stairs to the third floor where the apartment is located so it may not be practical for people with less mobility. There were 2 balconies and a separate kitchenette/ dining area with a fridge which was great for our drinks and food. It was incredibly good value for money during high season and I highly recommend the property and Martina. I would absolutely stay there again! Thanks Martina, it was a wonderful experience and I hope to be back again!

This was a lovely, comfortable place in Florence. The location was absolutely perfect and Martina was a joy. Very helpful and charming.

Die zentrale Lage ist wirklich super. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Und obwohl so zentral gelegen, recht ruhig.

Der Name "Vista su Palazzo Vecchio" ist absolut irreführend. Zudem suggeriert das Foto mit Sicht auf den Turm des Palazzo Vecchio, dass man ihn von einem Fenster aus sieht. Das Foto ist aus dieser Wohnung blickend ein Fake. Darum gebe ich für die Lage - trotz super zentraler Lage - viele Abstriche. Die Wohnung liegt im vierten Stock (ohne Lift). Mit schwerem Reisegepäck ist es ein Mühsal. Dass die Wohnung spartanisch ist, ist auf den Fotos sichtbar. Jedoch nicht, dass es etwas verwarlost ist: - Im Badezimmer sind Wände und Fenster extrem renovationsbedürftig. Einstieg in Duschkabine ist sehr schmal. - Die Wohnung war nicht abschliessbar. Die Frau, die uns empfangen hat, zeigte das Schliessen mit dem Schlüssel, aber bei offener Türe. Bei geschlossener klemmte einer der 4 Bolzen
