Nothing.
The staff on the desk when we checked in were very unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. We felt we were interrupting their evening conversations with each other. When I asked about using stairs they looked at me like I was insane but I explained that I was extremely claustrophobic. One of them went outside and pointed to the right, she didn’t say a word until I asked stairs? She answered stairs and kept pointing so I had to figure out were they were. They were rude to my husband about parking as well. We will never be back

Lobby and dining with the bar in an open concept with garden and amazing hot tub views all in a beautiful aesthetic was splendid! It felt a lot like a 5 Star European hotel.

Nice hotel. Warm lovely pool. Very friendly, accommodating, super hard-working staff at the front desk, restaurant, and cleaners. Well appointed rooms, short walking distance to small waterfront restaurant. Close to cruise port and airport.
Restaurant was ridiculously understaffed with limited breakfast and happy hour. The servers deserve an award and their bosses should be reprimanded! They worked nights and were back early the next morning with smiles on their faces. Give them a raise and lets find a way to staff these places! The bathroom design, while fashionable is terrible. A big heavy glass door slides between the shower and toilet. It's very difficult to move and privacy is minimal at best. I can't imagine how anyone with week hands can manipulate it. Designers! Please!

Spaciousness of the room
1) We were very disappointed that we were told by the hotel that we might need to wait for up to 3 hours for the airport shuttle bus to take us to the hotel due to traffic. So, we ended up using ubert.

Shower started leaking, balcony sliding door lock was broken. Which they fixed right after i told them.

The water pressure in the sink is TERRIBLE! Please get it fixed. I’ve stayed at this hotel for the past 10 years and that water pressure hasn’t changed.

The maritime theme
I booked through booking.com. I mistakenly selected 3 nights when I only intended to stay for 2. I immediately went to Manage My Booking to edit the date. Booking.com advised that they emailed the property and was waiting for a reply, which never came.
The next day, when I was checking-in at the hotel, I advised the clerk at the counter that I needed to change the check out date and she said I needed to contact booking.com to do that, that she cant change what dates they have in their system. She then asked if I had a car and advised me that there is an additional cost of $19 per day for parking. At this point I felt a bit bullied into and was stuck staying there and forced to pay the extra undisclosed parking costs and unintended extra day.
I followed up with booking.com about the extra day and parking fees. I am currently still in communication with them about this issue.
As for the hotel room, the A/C turned off in the middle of the night every night I was there. After the first night and waiting for maintenance to show me how to turn the unit back on, I was given a small desk fan and woke up every other night in sweat and had to get up and physically turn the A/C back on.
In addition, the refrigerator was not cold and did not keep food or drinks chilled.
Besides the clerk at check-in who was a bit aggressive and unaccommodating, the rest of the hotel staff was pleasant.
Contributing to the low score feedback I gave for this hotel was its location. Although nestled off of a major highway, the hotel was difficult to navigate to and from and unfortunately the hotel is directly across the rode from a homeless shelter and there were quite a few people sleeping in tents a rock throw distance away which affects the overall safety and quality of the hotel

Had to pay for parking. I’ve been to this location several times and this was the first time having to pay. I think it’s absurd to pay to park when no added feature was included like security, valet or the facility being gated.

The location is good
The room was so loud, I had to change rooms after one night. The bed has no power outlets. Nowhere, not even close. I did not know this still exists in these days. There are signs in the Hotel for non-smoking, but the whole hotel smells like weed. A ride in the elevator to the 4th floor makes you change your clothes. Nasty. Parking lot was flooded after rain as well. Booked thru Booking.com for $774 incl. breakfast. Came out the breakfast is not included, just a voucher for $15. A coffee + joghurt + tiny fruit bowl already over the budget. Bill revoked after figured the fruit was molded. Wondered every day why I was the only one at breakfast, now I know why. Final bill $950, almost $200 over the booked price, but nobody could explain why. Told me I have to open a case with Booking.com, not their fault. Not sure if this place is a scam, but they will never see me again, that's for sure.

Saying you have a balcony is great however it’s tiny, chair can barely fit

Since this is advertised as part of the Marriott hotel chain our expectations were much high than the amenities that we experienced - Disappointing. We realize the hotel is being renovated (once we got there) but again....disappointing for our stay this year.

The black out curtains were ripped. The light from the bathroom lit up the room (no solid wall). There was a shade that would cover the glass between the shower and the room that did not pull down all the way

Under construction unhelpful staff elevator on left does not work. No stair access from main lobby or outside and staff said they in know where the stairs were when I asked. Rooms are outdated and balcony is really not a balcony. Bed was not comfortable at all. Literally in the middle of the highway so you can’t walk anywhere nothing to do nearby. (Walking distance)

Upon arrival the host at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and rude. I had to evacuate my home due to weather I arrived at 7 am due to an additional 4 hours of unexpected traffic. I'd said i'd be there at 2 am, arrival time was out of my hands, I called to let them know, but nobody answered, I didn't stress it to call again. Star the coordinator at the front desk said nothing is available for me because I came in the morning instead of night with a nasty attitude and facial expression telling me i needed to call if i was going to be late, which would rub anyone the wrong way. I said can you please at least look up my last name I did book a room. She responded " GIRL DONT GET AN ATTITUDE WITH ME" which i responded " ma'am im not calling you out of your name or looking to be disrespectful i tried to call no one answered we are in a state of emergency, I dont care if I can only sleep here from 7-11 its fine" she continued to call me "girl" raise her voice andbe very disrespectful. Before I left I requested to speak with a manager about the incident and waited at the front for 45 minutes. The manager never came back out to speak with me. Overall very displeased, will not be returning.

NOTHING, I did not eat the breakfast. I was told the night before that bread is served from 6am-10am. I went down for breakfast around 8:10 only to be told breakfast would not be served due to the Chef not having correct time to serve.
The sheets on the bed were dirty and I had to request a different room. I have stayed here several times and this was the worst experience ever!

Parking! Be aware it’s self parking and you have to pay $10 a night and that is very Odd considering the parking is not gated and they didn’t take any responsibility for any misconduct or theft.
The constructions in State Rd 84 are a mess and you have to get all around for get the right entrance.

We had a great time at TRYP hotel! The lobby was stunning with huge fish tanks with great species, super clean, comfy and spacious rooms. Breakfast was awesome and with a fair rate. we stayed here just for one night prior our cruise departure and we found it really convenient.

VERY ISOLATED. NO SHOPPING THAT YOU COULD WALK TO OR WALKING AREA. NEED UBER WHICH MADE THE STAY BETTER. NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE MOTORCYCLES RACING FOR OVER 2-3 HOURS. APPARENTLY HAPPENS AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK SOMETIMES TWICE. NO SLEEP WHILE IT IS HAPPENING WENT ON TO MIDNIGHT.
