Nice hotel

Shocking front desk staff. Paid for room with breakfast. Took breakfast and noted it was charged again on our folio. Told the front desk staff on checking out who advised they would credit the breakfast charge. Total liars, they have charged us twice for breakfast, won’t ever stay there again. Have tried to email via the Marriot website which isn’t possible as it doesn’t list the Le Meridien Dania Bay as an option.

Terrible Airport Shuttle

I waited for the shuttle almost one hour but nobody picked me up. I saw shuttles from other hotels multiple times when I was waiting in the F station. I called the hotel front desk line and the staff told me to wait 30 mins first time. I called back 30 mins later, then they told me the shuttle would be there in 40 mins. It was a terrible experience.

Disappointing.

The restaurant and bar and that staff were excellent.

We ordered and paid for a king deluxe. The room we got was nothing like the picture. It was very small. I asked the check in clerk to give us a room with some kind of view and not a roof view. That is exactly what he gave us. They were not full! The smoke detector flashed a really bright light periodically throughout the night and the sink and shower had no water pressure. There were no robes in the room and we had requested them but never received them.

The hotel itself is nice. Main lobby, bar and restaurant areas are decent. The breakfast was also quite good.

The rooms are worn and need a thorough cleaning. Walls, doors, etc are very dirty. The wall paper in bathroom has toothpaste, etc sprayed all over. The tile grout and sealings around shower area are very dirty.

Looking for other options in Dania Beach next time

The room was small and the furniture was gross. I shower opens and takes up the entire bathroom. Two people could not stay in these tiny bathrooms and small rooms. The carpet was only under the bed and the edge of the tile where it meets the carpet was uncomfortable to walk on in bare feet. There were ice makes on two floors and one them is broken. Best hotel with restaurant near FLL airport

I missed my connection at FLL and needed a last minute overnight near the airport. I chose Le Meridien because it had a restaurant and bar, and I didn’t want to have to search for these things for this overnight stay. The common areas were great - fantastic restaurant; nice bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was okay - could have used a little updating. But overall, it was certainly good enough considering what I needed.

Bright Spot in a Bad Day!

Last minute booking due to canceled flight at FLL. Nice room, great people, fun bar, good food. 24 hour gym w good if somewhat limited machines, had everything I needed. Gave me late checkout, which helped w my travel saga. Nice pool and surrounds. Modern, crisp, minimalist yet comfy vibe. Loved it.

Beautiful hotel, clean and staff was very accommodating.

Our room was not fully prepared. There were no tissues or bath sheets. However, there were a few hand and face towels, so we made due. I was able to locate a house maid easily, who replaced the tissues. She was nice and accommodating.
