Very satisfactory hotel stay - let down by Cruise Port Shuttle provider

Good varied breakfast, well maintained by staff member

Cruise port shuttle service recommended by hotel , although booked and confirmed - did not turn up. The airport shuttle driver at the hotel kindly agreed to contact the port shuttle company. It appeared that our shuttle had already left our hotel with 2 passengers and we were not shown on the pick up log. The airport shuttle driver then agreed to take us to the port, we arrived 45 minutes later than intended. Port shuttle company have not responded to the 3 complaint emails we have sent them, although they state on their flyer, provided by the hotel: 'Satisfaction Guaranteed'

hard to find accomodation because of the big boat show on that weekend.

Good location to cruise port and airport. Most of the staff were helpful. Had two separate bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice traveling with friends. We were able to watch the final game of the world series in the lobby with quick food. Unfortunately, the one staff member had to cover the bar and food so she was quite busy but cheerful.

Smelly room from someone's cooking was quite noticeable. Light over bed in one room did not work. Breakfast was not great.

Shuttle is not available after 11pm, dog charges are excessive

The room was big enough.

If the pet charge had been clearly stated on Booking.com, we would never have made the reservation. Especially considering that our room was not perfectly clean — we found some dog food from a previous guest on the carpet. So, what is the purpose of the $56 charge? In addition, we were unable to get shuttle service upon our arrival at 11:20 p.m. The airport shuttle should operate as long as there are incoming flights. Finally, the breakfast area closed at 10 a.m. Guests who arrive late at night should have enough time to rest and still enjoy breakfast before the 11 a.m. checkout.

Clean hotel, comfy bed, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Upon arrival Kevin at the front desk could not find our reservation. I provided the paperwork and my email which did not help him. He finally found our reservation which was entered in the computer wrong. Kevin was exceptionally nice and very helpful especially with giving us a downstairs room since my husband is handicap. We will definitely stay here the next time we fly into Fort Lauderdale, the hotel is very nice. The breakfast was good with a variety of options to pick from. Our room/suite was also very nice the bed was comfy and our stay was pleasant. Kevin at the front desk was top notch, friendly and made us feel welcomed.

We were disappointed that the hotel did not provide a "free" shuttle to take us, our friends and several other guest to the cruise port. The hotel shuttle was charging $20 per person plus a tip to drop guest off at the cruise port. We found another service that picked us up at the hotel and took us and our friends (who also stayed at the hotel) to the cruise port for $10 per person, so $40 total plus tip for 4 of us. As nice and well known as the Marriott is, they should accommodate their guest with a "free" shuttle to the cruise port. They have a "free" shuttle from airport to the hotel, so why not from the hotel to the cruise port as well, especially since we pay big bucks to stay overnight at their hotel.

Wonderful stay in an extremely clean, comfortable and convenient hotel.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. From the maids to maintenance, everyone greeted us warmly. They definitely have a strong culture of hospitality at this hotel and it shows.

It was a little slow at the front desk to check in and to purchase things from the store.

The hotel was very clean and close to the cruise ports. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and felt safe in the area.

This was our first cruise, leaving out of Fort Lauderdale with Royal Caribbean. We drove from SC and didn't know too much about where to park. The hotel parking was expensivethey wanted 20 dollars per person for the shuttle to the port. We paid at another hotel for the week, and it included a free shuttle to the port and back to the parking.

It's a Nice Hotel to Stay

The hotel was a wonderful place we didn't had to much time to spend there because we were traveling back and forth to Miami for a gauration and traffic was horrible getting back just enough time for sleeping the bed was very comfortable. Love the moments we were there.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient Stay

Arrived early morning after disembarking cruise and pleasantly surprised that a room was ready for us to check in. We had a lovely stay, the suite was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful with very good food, kudos to the chef and her team! Also had drinks at the bar in the evening, very friendly bartender. Ordered in from Miller’s Alehouse, quick delivery and good food. Requested Uber service and that was quick and easy with drivers nearby. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, professional and efficient. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Precruise hotel destination!!

They had a 2 bedroom suite that accommodated our family - 6 of us! It worked out great. We had 2 separate bedrooms and sofa bed. The bonus was 2 full bathrooms that helped when 6 of us were getting ready. So nice that breakfast was provided. Also they arrange transportation to our cruise ship through a 3rd party - worked out great!

Location was not walking distance from anything. Shuttle to port was ridiculously over priced. Got Uber direct for less that 30% of shuttle price.
