Will book again when we visit our relatives in Winchester.

Spacious room for us along with our pet dog. Unable to hear the noise from other rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the room adequately heated. All staff members were helpful,kind and friendly.

The postcode for the hotel on either side of the A34 is the same but once you drive to the wrong one, it is a very difficult problem to then get to the right one on the other side. It would be useful to warn of this on your website

Good value place to stay

The room appeared newly refurbished and was very clean. Good sized Samsung television. Warm and the radiator didn't automatically switch off overnight as it does in some other hotels. Very good value for the night, including free parking.

Only two 13A sockets and not one near the bed. The shower didn't provide very warm water in the evening, but was warmer in the morning.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The location was just right for our needs and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided excellent value for money.

The bathroom was quite dated. The entrance was quite far from the car park and it was raining heavily. Not very many sockets in the room for charging.

Peaceful stay

Have stayed here a number of times . The staff are always very helpful . The hotel is on one floor and the rooms are situated in an L shape . Alway a comfortable and peaceful stay. Excellent value for money

Overall it was a good stay. Good and friendly staff. Very good location for relaxation.

Room was good, nice and spacious but there was no hot water facility. However, they gave us £20 worth Food Voucher to use at McDonald's. Nice place to relax and very convenient for car parking. Has McDonald's, Costa Coffee, and WH Smith and a petrol station. Overall, a good place for holiday.

I loved the fact that there was charging on site. The location was great and the price very reasonable. The bed was excellent, clean quiet and comfy and that's the important thing!

The room was clean but the light switches were dirty. They need a bit of TLC. I couldn't find the hotel entrance at first because lorries had parked right across the sign.

Crazy to get to Sutton scotney from hotel. There is a direct road, but you can’t drive down it so a 2 min drive to get to location takes 20 Mins as you have to go round the world

Stayed here a few months ago and it was completely different this time. The bathroom was grimy, so much dirt in and around the toilet. Toilet was lose from the floor and leaking. The corridors absolutely stank of stale smoke; pet urine and general dirt. Bottle of water was over £2

Very clean , surprisingly quiet given the location (no road noise, the occasional low level rumble of an HGV), very friendly welcome, all on ground level so very accessible, comfy bed, lovely and warm on a chilly night.

Not great, but was somewhere to sleep

It had free parking.

It wasn’t very clean, was very very cold and no one cleaned my room at all whilst I was there. The doors also didn’t feel like they locked properly and there were several unsavoury guests on drugs roaming the property at night. I did not feel safe there, I was travelling alone. Breakfast was a 25% off voucher at McDonald’s.

It was very secure, felt safe to stay at, especially with young children. We were shown to our rooms quickly and offered a travel cot, that was put up by staff on arrival. Perfect.

Great place to stop off for one night on the way from Derbyshire to Hampshire. Very easy to access off A34 and easy parking.

Location was great - especially the cut through from Northbound to the Southbound carriageway. Staff were absolutely lovely throughout the stay. We have 4 very out-of-their-comfort-zones spaniels with us for the 2 nights and everyone was very friendly with them, gave them time to settle and acclimatise and didn’t make me feel like an incompetent pet owner when they reacted to new faces.

Out dated. The toilet rocked on its foundations; the decor was out dated; the tea and coffee selection was substandard; no breakfast options delivered to room; just the options at the services with a mediocre discount.
