Clean, nicely decorated and close to town centre.
Could improve outside service in garden. Lack of staff.

The rooms were nice size and beautiful. The hotel property was cute and located well- short walk to all places in town.
There was no elevator in the hotel and less hospitable than we expected. No one offered to help with any of the bags and any kind of drink when coming in. The staff was overheard laughing when we had asked for assistance with bags and gave them a tip, which was a bit rude.

Nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. No lift, but the lady at reception carried my suitcase upstairs without me even having to ask. Very comfortable bed, excellent AC, and the bedroom was good too.
Good location, a couple of blocks from Winchester Cathedral and also handy to the railway station.
