Location is great but you pay for it. The room had air con which was very comfortable but otherwise was quite small and very plain.
I booked a busy Saturday night so knew o was paying a premium, however on checking in was told my booking excluded breakfast. Whilst i was made aware of that on checking out I was charged for parking which I had not been aware of.

The hotel is lovely and the staff were super friendly. The bar there is such a great spot for a few drinks. The location is perfect for exploring the lovely city of Winchester.
It wasn't mentioned ahead of time but when we paid on leaving, there was a charge of £15 for using the car park. Having stayed in many hotels before, this was a first for me and I thought a little cheeky.
I didn't like the bath being in the middle of the room - whilst that is fine for a couple, i was staying with my sister. We did use it to put our feet up while we watched TV though, so it did have a use!

Loved the little terrace outside the studio room. Really lovely planting, too.
The accessible bathroom doesn't have any grab rails in the shower.
