    Beautiful old bulding whch has retained its charm with sympatically converted bedrooms to provide modern facilities. Great location close to the old West Gate to the town and High Street and overlooking the old Winchester Great Hall & Castle remains. Easy walk to Cathedral. Excellent Breakfast and menu for Dinner. Great Service, Staff and value. Picture shows one of our bedrooms

    Everything is great except that there is no elevator in the building. If you are traveling with heavy luggage, be prepared for some heavy lifting when getting to your room and checking out. Other than that, everything is good—the people are friendly, and the food is delicious.
