Fabulous location right next to the cathedral grounds. Cosy, comfortable and clean. Fantastic breakfast. Nice touches in the room such as tea/coffee, water, biscuits and flowers. Friendly staff.

Excellent all round!

The staff were all fantastic - great proactive communication before our stay about parking, then a great welcome and show round, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay just right. Excellent breakfast and fab location right next to the Cathedral. Our room was huge - we stayed in Osbourne and Little.

A lovely Birthday spent here.

The breakfast was huge! We loved the room and the location is right opposite the Cathedral. Very central for all the sights we wanted to see. Will definitely come back. The evening meals were also large and filling and tasty.

A very pleasant stay with warm and friendly atmosphere - Will definitely come again

Our room was spacious and homely - we were welcomed on arrival with such friendliness and were fortunate to be able to check into our room earlier than expected - the bathroom was gorgeous as well

Our room was at the back of the hotel which unfortunately meant we were awakened at 1am by loud revellers out in the street below - then again early in the morning by loud thumps and bangs whilst deliveries were made to the restaurant and bar

Very upset with the parking, we were given a garage, which was very difficult to get in & out off. Because of the narrow streets and closeness of other cars, I found it very difficult to exit the garage. Whilst exiting the garage my car was damaged

Wonderful facilities, ambience, staff, food and location makes this place a MUST stay if you are in the area.

We were greeted by Bradley and shown to our fabulous room. He, and all the staff were friendly and attentive when necessary, location is a stone’s throw from the Cathedral.

The bed was a bit small for us but we knew that going in and would stay there again. It did not affect our enjoyment.

Would love to stay again only thing I would change is not having a room near the kitchen and above the outside smoking area as pretty noisy! Also parking a nightmare but not the hotels fault as Winchester ridiculously busy!

The staff where amazing especially Bailey Room was exceptionally clean - bathroom had lovely toiletries, slippers and dressing gowns. Dinner was amazing. The breakfast was served by a very cheerful lady - its was perfect!

Home away from home on perfect location

We loved this hotel, most of all because of the lovely staff, esp Bradley who gave us such a warm & friendly welcome & went above & beyond to make our stay memorable. Also the board games in the bar a nice touch, we played trivial pursuit having a drink before bed, it was lovely. Fantastic location & big rooms.

Our room was not very warm nor was the bathroom. I personally feel the cold & like a warm room so others may not have noticed this.

As my wife put it (who is German) “Classically English”. We had a whole apartment to ourselves, spacious and clean with comfy beds. Didn’t spend much time there as we were busy. But it was centrally located across the street from the cathedral. Lovely breakfast and friendly and attentive staff. When we come back to Winchester will stay here.

Great location in historic part of the town opposite the cathedral. High quality breakfast and dinners in atmospheric restaurant. Luxury spacious room with views of the old quarter.

Extra bed was a bit uncomfortable and basic.
