Great location. Room was very clean and well equipped, staff were friendly, breakfast had a great range of choice.
The only thing was the distance of our room to the restaurant but a minor detail! Covered walkways between the buildings do mean winter visits would be cold walking from room to restaurant and bar - but again, minor detail!
8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
The grounds are lovely, the spa facilities are excellent. The food in the restaurant is made fresh with good ingredients and dishes are all a high standard, particularly the vegetarian meals. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Rooms are comfortable and very clean.
The layout of the hotel is a bit odd, the bedrooms can be a long walk away from reception and guests often get lost. The staff are great but most are very young and when there is a wedding on at the same time as other events there does not seem to be enough staff to cope with all the work.

Loved the complimentary mini bar
Rooms spread out across a number of floors and corridors

Location was lovely, hotel was lovely and clean and staff were polite
Spa swimming pool was very busy, not enough beds for the amount of people using it. The room was cold and took most of the stay to figure out how to use the radiator even after calling reception for advice
