Nice and clean but breakfast appears mass produced.

Nice room and cleaned great .

Not a good variety of breakfast options. e.g . No choices for eggs . POACHED nor Fried .. just high bowl of warm scrambled eggs. No one asked us our room numbers nor told us where to sit . It was very busy Saturday morning and everyone had to find a table in a rush .

Great 2 night stay in Southampton

After driving 3 hrs down from near Leicester, we got a really nice welcome from Scott - friendly and welcoming - which was nice after being tired arriving at 10.00-ish. The hotel was nice and clean. Our room was the same side as the motorway, but was really peaceful. The bed was really comfortable - we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was good.

Our room was near one of the fire doors, and in the morning, if someone went through the door, if made our room door rattle/bang.

The hotel was very clean. Staff were very helpful , always smiling. Breakfast included, there was a lift which was really helpful as I was with my elderly mum , free parking , free WiFi , hotel was quiet, good blackout curtains , comfy beds there was a small snack shop on site. Close to M271 so easy access city and surrounding areas.

Small criticism, although a good selection at breakfast, maybe option for poached eggs, healthier option than bacon and sausage , like turkey rashers or selection of cold chicken/ turkey ?

Room was very nice. Very clean. Comfortable and warm. Nice reception.friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was a little chaotic. Very full. Crowded and difficult to get bread or toast as guests were making it for their group. Asked for soya milk. Informed beforehand I was vegan but poor hot food choices for vegan. Plenty of fruit, cereal etc. Could've been better and staff apologised though not their fault. Otherwise all good.

Perfect place to stay before catching the ferry to IoW

A sincere and warm welcome from Scott on reception, everything explained to us. Lovely room with everything you need including a hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Excellent location for Red Funnel ferry terminal to the Isle of Wight (15 minutes drive). Free parking, and plenty of it! Everything clean. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the motorway. Lovely buffet breakfast. All the staff we encountered on reception, in the dining area and housekeeping all seemed happy in their work and were so polite and friendly.

The smokers who just throw their cigarette ends on the ground outside the main entrance. The dog owners who think it's okay to not have their dog on a lead whilst in the hotel.

The Sat nav for the Hotel sent me to a lorry park, the directions at the final roundabout said " fourth turn" but in fact it should be first turn. Arriving in the rain and at night it was not easy to see.

The staff were amazing and so friendly. We forgot to print our voucher for parking at the port and the staff were more than helpful. Scott.and Sam on reception were most helpful with this.

Great spot for short stays and staff were fantastic

The staff were fantastic, my child has a dairy allergy and often we have had to really push to ensure we can get food which is safe, but as soon as we arrived and re-confirm which we written in our booking, the staff were brilliant. They explained everything they had and even gave us a small soya milk to take upstairs, to drink in the room. We got help during breakfast which just added to the experience. Room was comfortable, clean and worked with what we needed for one night stay.

Didn't really like the location around the hotel, it is still being developed and there was a lot smoking outside, so it didn't smell very nice outside. Luckily this didn't enter into the hotel or our room overlooking the car park.

Only one chair is a room booked for 2 people. Sitting on the bed all evening is not an option. The walk in shower had shiny slippery tiles. I did slip but managed not to go over. The shower curtain was too short so the whole room became wet. With no children it would have been nice to be told there was an offer on for children to stay -very high numbers of them

Stayed here because we had an early ferry to isle of wight, great location only 12 minutes away from red funnel terminal. Staff were polite.

Its cashless. No option for card payments at all.

Adequate Hotel. Not for returning

Friendly staff

Temperamental lift( ground floor button had a paper cover with a G stuck to it. Insufficient tea & coffee supplies, BBC1 channel had no sound & toilet didn't flush well in the room ( room 203) after breakfast ( 10 am) we couldn't access our room & had to get " key" re done. I thought £5 for a bottle of water( 500ml) was a little steep.
