Excellent place to stay and great value

Great location, lovely looking pub and accommodation block. Plenty of parking. Staff were great, very friendly and professional. We had dinner and breakfast, and the food was excellent on both occasions. They also do a menu deal in the evening which is great value. The room was really comfy, nice and clean, and was well provisioned with a coffee machine and water etc. Basically everything was great, and we'll definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

The property was very clean and tidy, the extra little touches were a bonus and the actual property was very quaint.

Only thing was the headboard of the bed, couldn’t sit up because kept falling through the rails. Very minor issue though.

Exceptional place

Everything about the pilgrim inn was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was given as much attention as we were and there was even a little gift in room for it. Will certainly visit again.

Room was very comfortable, well equipped and surprisingly quiet given the location. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and good service The main host was always about and ready to help even though it was extremely busy

the staff where exceptional and so friendly, our room was comfy and very nicely decorated. I would definitely safe here again

the only down side to our stay was the portion size of the vegetarian main dish in the evening meal as well as the vegetarian breakfast in the morning. I had ravioli as a main meal and it was very tasty but very very small. it was the same thing with breakfast.

Exceptional value for money

An excellent choice for our overnight stay. The room was perfect, very clean and well appointed. The inclusion of bath robes and slippers was well above our expectations for the very reasonable price paid. Would highly recommend.

The room was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were polite and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious

When we arrived both the rooms were freezing but we spoke to a lady at the bar and it was all sorted very quickly. The shower in our room was nice but the temperature of the water changed very quickly and when it did, it was very hot.

The pub was separate from the rooms but served wonderful food

We had room 6 which was on the ground floor and facing the car park, I found the main road was audible even with the double windows shut

I would return as it's very good value for money but go the extra mile for guests when needed

The bedroom was very modern and clean with everything I needed.

We arrived at 20.10 hrs after a 5 hour drive to be told the kitchen closed 10 minutes ago so you'll have to find somewhere else to eat which never happened as we were too tired. Not exactly a sparkling welcome for two weary business travelers.

Beautiful rooms & an exceptional breakfast included the following morning. The evening meal was a little disappointing as one of the guests was gluten free & there wasn't a huge choice for them, but other than that the service was excellent.

More choice on the menu for the evening meal.

Beautiful property really clean and the meals in the pub were exceptional in the evening.

The room we had was road facing with no window covering besides heavy curtains. The bath leaked all over the bathroom floor as the outlet pipe wasn't sealed. The breakfast wasn't great, half a mushroom on the fried breakfast! The staff were lovely especially Lee.
