They run a charge on your credit card for 50 pounds on entry. I understand the principle of it but first time this has happened for me. It is refunded should you not incur additional charges but I guess that might take a bit of time.

I loved everything about this cute, stylishly fun, environmentally friendly Hotel! Can’t say enough about it. My first time here, not my last. I took a 10-min taxi from Southampton Central train station, to Hotel. It’s conveniently located across the street, with a park in between, from the Queen Elizabeth cruise port. I was taking a Princess Cruise, 3 days later. You can walk to it, or take a short few min taxi. I took a taxi, as it was raining a bit on cruise day, and had luggage. 3 blocks to the right of Hotel, on High Steet, is Southamptons main street. A grocery store, pubs, cafes, and a mall further down. It was Nov 12,13, so Christmas food stalls were up. German and English food. Carnival atmosphere. The Hotel is on a corner, with wheelchair accessible on other side of the building. It’s a 2,3 steps up main front otherwise. Very colorful, whimsy, stylish decor when you enter. A lovely cafe, ‘Winnies’, that serves a set breakfast, not buffet (which was fine) and lunch, dinner, and drinks. Loved the ‘to order’ breakfast! Full English Winnie is a must! With fun couch that sits you by the window with great views of the park,street. I had a two twin bed room with a window view of the side street. Beds were soft and firm. Chargers by both beds. And they have this gorgeous turquoise plush sofa that is in front of the beds. Loved it!! A very spacious room, with a full kitchen! Including a dishwasher. Plates, bowls, 2 burner stove, tea kettle, toaster,cups,utensils,sink, big refrigerator, and microwave. And recycle bin with trash. Nice sit down 4 seat kitchen table. With wall tv. Bathroom is spacious too! Rainforest shower head, glass enclosed door. With shower gel, shampoo,conditioner and lotion. And a shower handle to hold onto if needed. Elevator and stairs. Bus stations are just outside street by Hotel. This is my new go to Hotel when in Southampton. The staff were all great. Helpful and friendly. All I can say is,thank you! You will definitely see me again!

Just a minor problem with hot water in the kitchen and shower - supply was a bit erratic and it wasn't clear which way to turn taps for hot or cold

The decor and atmosphere of the place as a whole was pleasant and modern. The room was well equipped and spacious and felt homely.

Nothing much, maybe the lack of IPAs at the bar but seriously nothing to fault.

The housekeeping. There is no daily housekeeping. They don’t vacuum nor clean the room everyday. They only empty the trash bin.

Location and also the room was amazing.

I didn’t like the fact I didn’t have an answer about my parking request,also the fact I had to wait for on a line to get breakfast and the food menu should have more variety of choice.

Room 109. No working extractor fan in bathroom. Puddle of water on kitchen floor as we entered room. Dreadful banging noises from staff whilst in cleaning cupboard backing onto room starting at 7:30am Sunday and talking loudly at that time of day. Was asked whether I wanted parking. I replied yes but never heard back and when I contacted the hotel was told all parking previously booked. Not a good service by booking.com

Modern, clean hotel with relaxing setting close to Ocean Terminal plus live music Friday nights also, staff very helpful and friendly. Was good that you’re allowed to eat takeaways downstairs.

Fantastic room, extremely comfy bed. The room has everything you could want to be self sufficient The shower was amazing. The location is just brilliant if you are either going on a cruise or returning. Southampton is a fantastic city to explore .

Clean modern every thing you needed

Check in took ages the girl was so slow there was a long queue and she looked up and said anyone waiting !!!!! but the guy behind the bar came out with an iPad and checked in a few of us to get the queue down . I also phoned on the Thursday to ask if I could reserve a parking space the guy said that it was full on the day I went in at 4.30 and the guy behind the bars said yes no problem and gave us the code and our window looked over the car park and at no point was the car park full ….. losing out on money there as there is a car park over the road for the same price !!!

Spotless & spacious room. Perfect for family. Close to the downtown. Excellent location.

Requested a car park slot but the staff forgot to confirm the availability. Upon arrival I was informed there was no vacancy. Need to find a meter car park slot by myself.

Convenient location to cruise terminal, nice walk-in shower with great water pressure. We didn’t utilize the loft but I can see where that is good for families. USB outlets at the bedside were nice.

We travelled from the USA and our European adapters did not work here. We were unable to charge certain devices and utilize my curling iron.

The location

The windows could not be closed . I could hear all the noise from outside . We asked to check the safety box but nobody came until we checked out. Also we didn’t have cold water in the shower and we asked to be checked also no body came to check until we checked out.

Hosts were terrific. Welcome felt like family. And they were very helpful.

Lovely spacious room overlooking the park. It was great to have kitchen facilities as well. Shower was excellent too.
