Fairly near the port and Netley is a good area
Could do with some paint repairs and the room and bathroom were tiny

We used the Prince Consort for an overnight stay as it’s very close to the port. Have used them several times before. But think now the time is right to find somewhere else.
The rooms are a little dated but suited for one night. Disappointed that they couldn’t fit us in for dinner (2of us) due to a large party being there. So we had to go off and find a takeaway. And they’ve stopped doing hash browns at breakfast 🤦🏻♀️ we had a room ground floor next to the stairs. So people thumping up and down at all hours can keep you awake.

breakfast was too late so missed it and was too late for dinner. Staff were nice
the room was tiny and very small window, was far too hot to sleep. Had to move the bed to get to the 1 socket
