The lady who booked me in and took my food order was very helpful and friendly despite it being very busy The room was very clean and the shower was nice and hot

Nothing really The only thing for me was the mattress wasn’t to my liking but I had a good nights sleep

Handy location. The bed was comfortable.

We've stayed a few times before when travelling from north to south and vice versa. Unfortunately this time there were a few things that changed my opinion. On arrival there was no one at reception so I had to ask the young man on the bar for checking in and he said he'd be with me in a minute but I eventually got my key. On our trip back it was the same but it took quite some time before he stopped serving people at the bar. I understand that he was the only one on the bar and reception but he knew I was waiting but still kept serving people who came in after I had spoken to him so I waited a good 15 minutes to get my key. As for the room yes the bedding was clean and bed comfortable but the glass topped table had quite a few marks from spills, the bathroom radiator hadn't been dusted for a while and just generally looking a bit tired. It's a shame as it used to be fine.
