It was ok, lovely decor, great bathroom and toiletries and the bed was comfy.

We had a room with window onto a very busy road and at 1am the people in the room above were incredibly noisy

Lovely stay in a pub not a chain hotel

The room was comfortable without being over the top. The receptionist when I arrived was very pleasant and efficient. I got my key quickly (a real key, not a card). The bed was comfortable and the pillows really comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped and shower over the bath. The shower worked well. Breakfast was good. I chose to have something prepared and it was prepared fresh and not just something re-heated. The poached eggs were prepared perfectly. The location was great. A short taxi ride from Southampton Airport Parkway station. I would stay again.

Minor things (and did not detract). Some cobwebs on the ceiling. The shower could have been hotter. I would still rate it highly.

room was one of the nicest ive stayed in . so clean comfortable bed lovely modern bathroom with nice products. amazing selection off coffees and best thing fresh milk in fridge. breakfast fresh and made to order. great. roast dinner was brilliant

Such a Shame every bottle of WHITE WINE WE WANTED WAS OUT OF STOCK . so had a couple of bottles of Rose. We went onto LP Rose champagne in evening . Bar staff and table staff were all very friendly and helpfull

The room was was warm on arrival, requested heating to be turned down, room was a lovely temperature on my return and the next night. Breakfast was lovely, good choice and served by a very polite member of staff.

Fabulous pub with first class accommodation, beautiful rooms and bathrooms, shower is one of the best we have ever experienced and products provided of exceptional quality. Breakfast was superb with great choice and beautifully served by the staff on duty.

Our room was very hot overnight with no way of controlling the temperature. My partners main dish for dinner was overcooked and he could not eat it, but they did offer an alternative.

The room was excellent, modern and clean. very good breakfast with lovely friendly staff in a very light and airy breakfast room. Had dinner in the bar area but did notice that the restaurant looked exceptional, food great again and lovely atmosphere. Would definately stay here on my next trip. Also, well lit large carpark.

A mixed bag

Location, fabric of the hotel and good staff.

Noise of the adjoining road. Not very soundproof from adjacent rooms. Quality of food, in particular the fish and chips which were extremely greasy and I was unable to eat, I did point this out to a member of staff. Lack of items at breakfast, i.e. no porridge, which was on their menu. No side plates for croissants, toast etc. Chipped crockery. And we had to request milk for our cup of tea.

Loved the decor, we didn’t sit outside because of the weather, but it looked really nice and looked clean and tidy. Facilities were very good, had everything we needed in the room including a fridge and fresh milk.

Our radiator wasn’t working in our room. But, we contacted reception and a gentleman called Aiden was very quick to respond and when he initially couldn’t get it working, he brought an electric heater in and then he did manage to get the radiator working.

Clean, comfy room, with fridge Pleasant beer garden, large car park, good location.

The worst Sunday roast ever, dry York Pud, cold, no roast potatoes, offered chips. Awful Irish coffees made with aerosol cream, cold. Complained but nothing offered. Sat. night food very good.

Location by the river The decor The staff were very friendly The bed was comfy Complimentary bottled beer in the room ,what's not to love there 😊 The bathroom was beautiful ,one of the best showers ive ever had away The breakfast was excellent, really can't rate it highly enough 😀

Very brief but very nice stay, certainly worth a recommendation.

Breakfast was excellent and they had a very good selection of options to choose from. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

It was quite expensive but it had to be a last minute booking, so that would probably have applied to any location.
