On the whole a lovely hotel and great location

It was very clean, modern and great access to the marina

Some staff had attitude, for example one in particular seemed to have a problem with a 90 year old woman and a 85 year old man with dementia using an accessible door to the restaurant. I think if the staff don’t want people to use the emergency exit (the only accesible door) a lift should be installed for access to the restaurant.

The property’s location was perfect, with great staff and everyday albeit with plenty people going about it was always quiet. The food was great and plenty of choice.

Lovely family stay , great hotel.

Huge beds, and spacious room, very clean. There is a fridge in the room which was perfect . Pool area is large with shady grassy areas and lots of sun beds. Reception staff are lovely. 5 minutes walk to marina and sea . Great value for money.

They have a cashless policy and you are unable to add food and drink to the room which was annoying as that’s what we normally do so we can pay at the end. Maids are sooo noisy in the mornings which woke us up!! But they were cheerful 😂 There’s always a queue at the outside bar area.

Nice mid-range hotel with plenty of room for improvement! The grounds around the pool and the bar area are really nice. Light background music by the pool, plenty of sunbeds, always a shady spot available. The location is very good. The marina is within walking distance. Many restaurants and some shopping facilities.

Service in the breakfast areas is not guest-orientated. If you have to jump out of the way in the morning when the trolley with the used crockery is taken away, then you don't feel welcome. I think €3.50 a day for a safe and one pool towel, is completely overpriced. If you are travelling by car, you should know that there is no hotel car parking space. If you are lucky, you can find a parking space in the side streets around the hotel. For all those travelling this summer, construction noise is to be expected. A new multi-storey building is being constructed opposite the main entrance. We had a double room (2 double beds), without moving one bed, it was not possible to get to the back of the wardrobe. The air conditioning is right above the other bed and cannot be adjusted so that the air flow goes directly into the bed. After I put my feet at the head of the bed, my duvet was simply not covered anymore. We had no towels in the room several times after they had simply taken the ones we had hung up. For me, the price-performance ratio here is unfortunately not even close!

Stayed in palmasol lots of times. Hotel is lovely and so close to the marina. Would recommend staying here but only for bed and breakfast.

the staff were very kind and very polite, super professional and always willing to help apart of one guy which i believe were the manager he was rude but rest of them absolutely brilliant, the argentinian chef , the waiters , the cleaners , everyone was a delight

The property assume is old and the taps in the bathroom were rusted and over used, the tv was very old no much to watch fit the money i paid ☹️ i wish the restaurant would be a bit cleaner than it was , the baby high chairs were filthy

Great location

Very nice hotel, well kept with all the amenities you need. I would like to point out though that this is a hotel not an apartment so the rooms are not big compared to apartment type accommodation. It's a very nice hotel though in a very good location. Building works across the road are disruptive but I assume they'll be finished in the coming months. Weren't allowed play with a ball in the pool which was a bit annoying as there was nobody by the pool on this day apart from the duck floating around in the pool. Still a good hotel though.

Too few umbrellas around the pool and seating area. The food was poor apart from the breakfast. The staff especially the reception staff were very rude. I was shocked. Thought our experience was a joke e off but no, quite a few people experienced the same. Very very disappointing. Not a 4 star hotel

The entertainment staff were amazing. So energetic and engaging, the made the stay very exciting and I looked forward to their activities every day

Some staff were quite ignorant, paying this money for a 4 night stay, you would expect exception customer service but this was not the case. The space at the swimming pool area wasn’t used effectively to facilitate the amount of guests. Most sun beds were taken, 5 minutes after the swimming pool had opened.

very close to the belamendena harbour, close to restaurants. the room was very clean, the hotel it’s self seemed pretty new. good location , easy to get about. I walked from the local train station to it. the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic. I must say that the breakfast buffet that they put on was probably the best I’ve ever had. they had everything, literally everything ! check in was very fast, the hotel was clean and seemed to be all ok. no complaints from me really.

Pastry thief

On arrival, I noticed that the room was not cleaned properly, especially the toilet, and that the shower was leaking. The room was not very big, the balcony was decent, but the glass was dirty. The saff were uptight and unfriendly. This particular morning, I was finishing up my breakfast, and I had two mini pastries left on my plate which I had planned to finish in my room with another cup of coffee. As I was walking out, one of the members of staff stopped me and said that I was not allowed to leave with these items. When I asked her why, she just told me that it was not allowed. She then took a plastic cup, and whilst holding it over the bin, started to pour the contents of my coffee cup into it. She then said that I could not take the plate with the two mini pastries to my room. I put the plate down and was about to put the pastries on a tissue, when the lady said that I am not allowed to take the pastries themselves with me. When I said to her that I had been holding the pastries, and that they would now just have to be thrown out, she said it doesn't matter, and that this was against the policy (which was not displayed anywhere). She then requested that I tell her my room number. I asked her why this was such a big problem, to which she responded with a shrug. All of this was watched by other guests, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This policy was not displayed anywhere, and I have never had this issue before with other hotels. I had only wanted to finish my breakfast in my room, and at the end of the day I had paid for it. It's a shame that staff treat guests like this, as it has ruined my experience staying at the hotel. Let's just say that location was the only thing this hotel was good for.

A really nice hotel. Modern, clean and comfortable with a lovely pool area (although the sunbeds were a little packed in!), outdoor bar. Fantastic breakfast and close to the centre of the marina. I would return without a second thought.

Great week in Benalmadena

Hotel was very close to the Marina, and the beach, where there are plenty of bars and great resturants. Also close to the main road with more bars and restaurants and shops. Staff were great, hotel and pool area were clean and tidy. Plenty of bed chairs, but not all of them are by the pool, half of them are on the grass areas, which is nice if you want to be out of the way. Which suited me fine. The old town is a 12 minute cab journey away and definitely worth a look. Old spanish styles and great cafés and resturants. You can get a bus, but I prefer cabs, cost around €12-€15. The cable car is a 7 minute cab journey away.

I had a side room not overlooking the pool, they are building a new residential apartment. They work from 8 till around 4 or 5pm. Noise wasn't bad, the good thing is your balcony gets the sun in the afternoon, which suited me better. If you have room take a beach towel as they charge €3.5 a day, which I was a bit dissapointed about. Most places I stay don't do this. In peak times the pool is very busy, so if you want to be by the pool, get there early. Pool doesn't open till 10, and I like an early morning swim, so this was a bit of a let down.

turned up late at night , family of 3 to a room with only 2 single beds No bed for child , reception said couldn’t do anything till next day , was awoken by very loud building works right outside our room at 7 am , needless to say checked out got a refund and went to a different hotel
