Lovely apartment in good location, we will return!!

The information to find location and the warm reception were wonderful, thank you so much lovely receptionist! The apartment was ideally placed for us, albeit at top of steep hill, spacious enough for the two of us and had wonderful views from the balcony. So glad it had heating as it was decidedly chilly when we arrived.

Some oven gloves would have been good along with some tea towels. No shelves in main bedroom wardrobe to put clothes away.

Location, Views and Balcony

The location to everything was exceptional. The huge balcony was lovely to see the sunsets and stars. We could also see the beach from our balcony.

There could have been more sharper knives for cooking. There weren't any basics, like salt and pepper and olive oil. The pillows were hard as well. The shower did spray all over the place. It needed to be at a lower height and secured to the wall better. We had to hold the shower wand to take a shower. Yes, there are lots of stairs but it's good exercise. There is also a hill to walk. But 15 minutes to walk to the train. Get a one month unlimited pass to ride for 20 Euros. But the price for the month was great. Our hostess was friendly, responsive and helpful. Thank you for a nice stay.

Excellent!

I stayed here for my road cycling holiday for 2 weeks in January 2026. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything I needed, including a great balcony that gets the sun most of the day. The host was very pleasant and great to deal with. For me, the location was excellent - 10 minute's walk to the beach, few minute's walk to the supermarket and several restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Would definitely stay here again.

Maybe take into consideration a few flights of stairs to access the apartment.

A beautiful place to stay in Benalmedina

The apartment was good value for money. We were happy with the layout, the facilities provided and the sea view from the balcony. The staff was super supportive and helpful.

Lovely spacious apartment with a large balcony and sea views.

The apartment was spacious, with a great balcony , south west facing to get sun almost all day. Isobel who handed over the keys was so very helpful and friendly. She made our stay so comfortable and sorted out instantly a couple of minor issues we encountered. Very safe as gated entry and also extremely quiet. We would definitely stay again.

The patio furniture was very light and it got extremely windy at times blowing it around , one chair even flew into the patio doors. Thankfully not damaging the doors. We were asked for a cash deposit on arrival, Isobel returned it with her lovely prompt service on departure when we handed the keys over.

Lovely family holiday

The apartment was very clean and spacious with good facilities and plenty of room for a family of 5. Wonderful views of the sea and mountains. Ideal for access to the beach and train station both within 15 minute walk, although good bus routes on adjacent roads. Isabel who manages the apartment was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Communication was excellent.

The apartment is at the top of the complex up several flights of stairs, this wasn't made apparent by booking when the reservation was made. Definitely not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility

Well priced, good location, great staff.

The apartment was basic, clean and perfect. The grounds and buildings were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a great location, less than 5 minutes walk to a few bars and restaurants and a decent supermarket. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the beach. It is quiet at night and during the day. The rooftop pool with a small bar is a real bonus. I was very happy with my stay and will most likely return. Thanks to all the staff!

There is a hill to the block; it is steep, but quite short. It's manageable.

Superb

Lovely spacious apartment .catered for all your needs . Had everything you could have wanted . It is at corner of a steep hill, but then benalmadena is built on a hill . Plenty bars within walking distance but it is at the opposite end of the marina . I would return to this apartment and recommend it. Maria was very helpful

I did not find the pool but reception did inform there was one and she would take me to show me if I wanted . The reception was locked daily so had to buzz for entry and was not open at all times during the day . The parasol was the only thing that needed replaced but I highlighted this to the reception . I'm sure internet was available bit we could not connect.

Great place Benalmadena and Sams bar was great for food.

The roof top pool was not open. We went to the pool at the club house and were told because we were in Bloq 15 we were not allowed to use that pool because the owners of our block have no agreement with them. this ment we did not have a pool to use. next to our apartment 1511 there is a cannabis cafe that opens from 4pm to 12 midnight for people to buy and smoke weed. This was very unacceptable this was not mentioned at the booking. we were charged 10 euro each at checkin despite informing them 3 times we wouldnt be there untill 10.30pm. Paid 100 euro deposit on arrival also which was refunded on check out. The apartment was clean and very basic.

View from terrace. Very friendly manager. Good internet and WiFi. Climbing the stairs were great exercise, after all it’s called Pueblo Evita Hill but wouldn’t fancy it on a really hot day or if with a person of reduced mobility. A good location within short walk of restaurants and attractions.

Noisy aircon (not useable), no kettle, broken fridge, no plugs bathroom sink or bath, terrible mattress, broken toilet seat, filthy toilet, dry paint in bath, anti-slip in bath worn out, bathroom fan inoperative, mould on grouting, dirty curtain at patio door, no net curtains, insecure patio door (leaves gap at left side), dreadfully uncomfortable couch (also a fold-down bed), no ‘manual’ to advise guests such as rubbish disposal or what numbers on washing machine mean etc., damaged kitchen utensils, inappropriate glassware (four splash glasses and two small tumblers). Despite confirming there was a barbecue on the terrace before arrival - it’s a brick built in traditional style - upon arrival there were no grill nor ash box. We were given a story that the entire development can’t use the barbecues due to Police / Fire Department restrictions, the identical estate adjacent (Pueblo Evita Club) has the same barbecues with no restrictions upon usage. I’m doubtful of the ‘story’ given, more likely financially led either due to insurance premiums or cleaning overheads. See images for evidence of these points raised, whilst we did have a contact number the reception was not staffed 6 of 7 days and would have required major reform of the apartment regardless. Unfortunately the shortcomings of the fridge resulted in a bottle of Cava falling from the door bucket as being loaded from the supermarket bag, smashing upon the floor and slashing my wife’s hand open as she instinctively try to catch the bottle. Not realising the terrace door didn’t close properly allowed insects to enter (mosquitoes), when we did discover the issue (day two) the damage was done and subsequently due to the broken aircon we did need to spray the property constantly, as it was during the day necessary to leave doors open. Final insult to injury (literally) was having the cleaning staff sweep dirt from the tiles above down onto our terrace and over the clothes drying.

Lots of steps

Apartment was great size and was very clean. Rooftop pool is amazing. Sam's bar and pizza restaurant were great.

So many steps to our apartment. Towels weren't changed at all for the whole week, we had to wash them, we were in a private rental. Had to pay a charge to store our luggage for our last day.

Fantastic appartment, clean and great views

The apartment we stayed in was excellent. It was larger than expected with a fantastic view over Benalmadina and the sea. There is quite a few steps up to the apartments and no disabled or pushchair access. We went with a baby in a push chair. It was pretty tiring carrying the baby up and down the steps several times a day but not an issue as the appartment was so nice.

Check in times could be more flexible. We had to pay 40 euros for a late check in 11pm

Do not stay at this scam place! Where do I even start? We arrived and couldn’t figure out how to get to reception as it’s behind key gate (you only get key after you check in) so we were calling hotel and after 30min someone came to let us in. The reception was never open while we were there for whole 10 days. What an absurd. Maria was the lady that deals with all the clients and her attitude was appalling. At the check in we were told we have to pay 100 euro deposit for each room and we were not allowed to see them before hand. (We had 3 rooms in total for our family) so we paid 300 euro and also they charged us for baby cots 30 euros. To summarise- it’s a hostel not hotel. We only got partial money back from our deposit as they charge for inet, broken glasses this and that. Worst experience of our lives! This was our first holiday in 3 years with family members coming from all over the world. Beds are uncomfortable, fridges make noise, washing machines don’t rinse clothes so they were coming out wet. Kettle and coffee machine were that disgustingly dirty we couldn’t even use them. None of the apts were cleaned before we checked in and there was no soap or shampoo. When we called Maria 2 days later after we checked in to see if we can get new fresh towels and more toilet paper we were told 1 roll should do us all for a week. WORST EXPERIENCE IN OUR LIVES, this place is biggest scam and is run by people that are not only rude but also scammers. I wish I read other people reviews before we booked this hotel. Stay away people!

Nothing, it lived up to all my expectations. I was very happy and satisfied. The accommodation and facilities were excellent. Ate and drank in Sam's bar every day. On the resort.

A good sized one bedroom apartment with a reasonable balcony with a sideways views to the sea. Problems with WiFi but Maria sorted this out with a portable device, she was very nice and patiently allowed us to try and speak in Spanish! Good walking access to the sea and Arroyo. The kitchenette is reasonable for simple meals for short stays.

The walls are pretty thin and you could hear neighbours, water noises etc. at night along with an uncomfortable bed made sleeping difficult. Also, whilst It was only a minor issue for us at ths stage in life, the last 100m of the road when walking back from the coat is very steep and then there are a lot of steps to climb to the apartment, perhaps not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

There was a leaking air con unit and it was very dangerous but they did fix it. there was a very bad drainage smell. there were ants in one of the beds. We had to check out at 11 but as our flight was much later and normally you can use the pool till you have to leave they charged us €30 to use the pool for 2 and a half hours that was disappointing
