Very nice spacious clean apartment, well equipped, good bathroom, comfy beds. Indoor pool great if a bit cold! Staff very friendly and helpful. Happy that the 10E charge for the indoor pool has gone!

Hated our bedroom. Only window looked onto dark and occasionally noisy stairwell. Apt RSEG. It was like being in a cell. Didn't really like balcony looking onto road, but weather not really good enough to use it anyway. It did take a long time to check in. Would be nice not to have to wear a hat in the indoor pool but good to see you are no longer charging 10E a day to use it! Poor TV channel choices to watch Winter Olympics!!

If you’re above 60 and want a calm stay around a pool, then that’s for you.

The rooms are spacious and the staff was kind and friendly

It’s not ideal for families with kids. The mini club is tiny, the pictures on Booking are misleading, the indoor pool was cold for 4-7 year olds to enjoy. The location is fine but the whole area is a big mass tourism area. We rented a car mainly to go to Malaga for activities and decent food. The food at the hotel restaurant was very poor quality, the staff was lovely and kind. We were there out of peak season.

Perfectly situated, close enough to the centre of Benalmádena; 15 minute slow walk but far enough away to be quieter. Clean and comfortable suites with everything you’d need. Kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable.

Great hotel and pleasantly surprised for this last minute booking

Apartment was clean and modern and quiet. Overall hotel was very clean and tidy and staff very helpful. Small indoor pool was fine for a short swim and breakfast was good. Hotel is in good location a few mins from the beach and Main Street, the main park is also only a 10-15 min stroll away.

Good stay but not without its problems.

Room was well fitted out kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable.

Hamon was very smelly very damp. 3 showers and steam room were not working and most unpleasant guests were blocking the sauna and not letting others use it. Staff were informed but ignored the problem just told us the parts were on order but they did not tell us that when we pre booked the Hamon as required by them. Parking on the sides streets was very difficult. Gates were locked at 6.00 pm from the gym even though they could see us using the gym at the time, so return to reception took time as we had to find an alternative route through the adjacent building and a helpful guest.

Relaxing chilled out holiday in the Sahara Sunset

I loved the apt. Loads of space fantastic balcony and spotlessly clean. 2 minutes away from the pool. Washing Machine, dishwasher all there, filtered water on tap so no lugging bottles of water around. No problem getting beds at the pool anytime of the day.

The bar and restaurant area probably needed improving, it would be nice yo have music at yhe pool. The waitress in the mornings was very slow to come to take your order on our last day we had an hour before leaving for the airport. We sat for 20 mins and she never came to take our order there was only two other tables with people at them and she served them first even though we were there first.

Great friendly Resort Hotel.

Reception staff were so friendly and helpful. This is often missing even in the best hotels. So a shout out to Juan Antonio, Stephanie,Caroline and Sebastian. The reception WhatsApp messaging service is a brilliant ideal and should be copied by other hotels. Our room was spacious and fitted with quality furniture and fittings. The little shop on site was really useful and the staff always friendly. A good location next to the beach and close to a beautiful park.

Good location within walking distance to the beach and cafes, restaurants. Apartments are good sized with fully equipped kitchen and drinking water filtered tap.

The apartment was not cleaned thoroughly. There were sheets left in the apartment. The hand soap needed to be replaced and there was a cleaning cloth left in the shower. Floors were not thoroughly mopped or cleaned. We could still see the dirt and shoe prints and marks all over the floor.

Loved the apartment, very spacious and clean and had everything one wd need and more. Really enjoyed the relaxed vibe around. Loved the little shop and restaurant was lovely .

Brilliant stay.

We had to book our stay on landing in Malaga due to another accommodation cancelling our booking. On arrival at the Sahara Sunset, the reception staff, especially Juan Antonio, were amazing. They couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had a lovely apartment in a quiet area of the complex. The location of the resort was brilliant. Everything is just a short walk away. The resort restaurant and bar were more than adequate, but again, staff were lovely. Cannot fault it and would definitely return.

Sunbeds were difficult to obtain if you went down to the pool after 9am. Maybe allocation of sunbeds to customers on arrival is something that could be put in place.

The spaciousness of the property,cleanliness and well equipped kitchen. Everything seemed to have been well thought out,ie plenty of hangers,Sun beds etc.
