Lovely hotel in a great location

Lovely hotel in a very good location to beaches and the centre of Benalmadena. Great hotel for children. Entertainment was great pools with slides were fantastic. The food was very good.

The only fault I had was that you had to pay €72 for a safety box in the bedroom. That was very expensive. That should just come as a standard addition to your room. Room was very small with no fan in the bathroom.

Evening meals were dreadful, looked awful, after paying for an All inclusive package, we had to eat or every evening with the added cost of €600 to our stay for 7 days, breakfast and lunch was fantastic- with a great choice and range of foods for kids and adults, maybe different chefs are employed for the dinner/evening service?

We had to pay to rent an iron which I thought was strange most hotel rooms supply this, also €52 euro for the safe and you get €10 euro back when checking out, which i didn't receive.

Disappointing I am afraid and felt like a battery hen!

Location was ok and close to the beach.

Quality was poor for the money and was very basic. It feels like the management are focused in processing you in and out rather than having a good experience. You are just a number. So many simple things could be done to make you feel more welcomed.

Bar staff were great and animation team. Pretty clean and rooms are ok. Great for kids.

Most staff were good apart from the restaurant manager and one of the pool cleaner staff kept moving parasols and tables even when people were using them. Not enough sunbeds etc for everyone and snack bar had at least 40 min queues and food wasn’t great for selection.

Great Family Hotel with swimming pool and activities, avoid if noise annoys you

breakfast was great, its close to the coast, room was clean and the staff is friendly.

Limited on property parking that is payed, the building needs more elevators during peak traffic, your stuck waiting a long time. The stairs from a certain floor upwards are not worth to walk down or up.

Fantastic choice of food and drinks! The pools were always clean and staff very friendly and helpful! The room had a great balcony and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Basic staying, nothing fancy but enough to break the routine

It was generally good for a break from routine.

The playground by the pool was noisy until midnight due to children screaming inconsiderately. The door key needs to be reset daily because the magnetic bar is affected by mobile interference. It's quite strange!

Great water slides for the kids, although it was freezing! They really should have it heated during the winter to make it more enjoyable for guests. Loved how ice pops were included in the AI, never seen that in a hotel before. Liked the location, only a short walk to the beach, shops, bars/restaurants. Food was ok but not the best I’ve had in a 4* but we all managed to find something we liked for our 3 night stay. We had 2 connecting rooms. Beds were very big & comfortable. We had enough space within the two rooms for the five of us.

You can hear A LOT in your room. The walls must be very thin because I could even hear the room above us flushing their toilet. You could clearly hear people in the corridors too. Definitely the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Didn’t love the snack bar food choice, not sure if it’s seasonal but you could only have a toastie, nuggets, burger & chips which you had to order. I’d have liked fruit and salad too. Parking was €12 a day which I don’t really agree with. If a hotel has a carpark on site then it should be free for guests. No fitness suite which my husband was really disappointed about as he is a regular gym user. Evening entertainment wasn’t great. It was too loud for the size of the room & it was aimed more at Spanish. No kettle in the room (I love a cuppa first thing).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Los Patos. The pool was incredible, both kids and adults enjoyed immensely, the staff was friendly, helpful and available. The buffet had a large variety of food and the changing menus from day to day were a hit.

The buffet had vegetarian options, but they were often not clearly marked which made it difficult for the children to navigate the buffet independently. Vegetarian options in the snack bar would also have been appreciated (besides french fries).

Not much

The breakfast was the same every day very boring and often Luke warm. We only had one evening meal as it was appalling very limited options. You can hear everyone in the hotel rooms sounds like you’re in the same room as other people. Cleaners start early and are noisy although did a good job. We were a family of 4 2 double beds small walk way round, hardly any hanging or storage space, room next to the lifts so very noisy. Fight for sun beds round the splash pool every day. Snack bar only offering burger hot dogs and chips, no options to purchase a choice eg salad or something else if you weren’t all inclusive.

Great place, kids loved it. Comfortable.

5mins to the beach. 20mins to the airport. Uber is available and cheaper than the UK. The resort is very much children focussed which was ideal for us as we had two young children. Kids' entertainment kept the kids occupied.

The pool & water park could have been a little warmer. Kids couldn't stay longer than 30mins each time. The food variety could have been a bit better, but we were OK as we were there for 4 nights.

we had to move rooms at 4am due to an awful smell coming from the bathroom in our room, the reception were not going to allow us another room, they told us no one would be able to come to the room to check what is wrong until 10am, we asked the guy at reception to come to the room to show him the smell was unbearable and that no one could sleep in that room, and then eventually we were given a new room.

Small outside space and too crowded

The place is small and so crowded. I did not want to go into the pool which is so tiny compared to the people in it. The room was very simple and ok but the air conditioning stopped working in the evening until the morning at 10 am. The noise of people in the corridor and the bin truck outside ( we had a view of the parking and the hotel bins). It was full of children crying so not very relaxing for sure. The breakfast place wasn't the cleanest one as they still had french fries on the floor from the evening before. I could not wait to go back home.

The food was amazing

The AC was only cold, parking if u are lucky to find one in fron of the hotel, Otherwise you have to park 500-600m from the hotel. The water was freezing, could not enjoy the water park at all. You have to pay for parking 11€ per night in a building next to the hotel. I m not going back for sure.

Food was really lovely with loads of choice. The kids facilities, pool etc were great and the shows on an evening were really good also!

The pipes smelled of sewage after using the shower but it didn’t last long and didn’t effect the stay
