Reception staff very pleasant . Really enjoyed our stay apart from the bar.

The location and room size.

The downstairs bar. One male member of staff was very rude and laughed in my face when I asked for a ginger ale. Told me, we don’t sell it, rudely. Can’t believe a major hotel doesn’t sell ginger ale. It definitely did on my previous visit. The bar needs updating, felt more like a day bar not an evening one.

Big hotel and lovely breakfast. Staff work very hard to keep a smooth running. The view from our room was stunning.

The pool and sunbeds. Just didn’t flow. Random sunbed placed and we had to collect our own . Very cramped Was given a room on the lower ground and the smell was awful! Also had ants. Spoke to receptionist and he agreed as soon as I mention my room number so I’m guessing they know that room is bad but still gave to myself and daughter. They moved us though with no problem so I was grateful for that. I would have been very upset if the hotel didn’t have a spare room . You face to pay to use the indoor pool and gym .

Below standard expected for a 4*.

It is in a good location, the rooms are spacious and it’s clean. The buffet was varied enough to suit everyone and the timings of it were great.

There is no tea and coffee in the room as standard, you have to request it for an additional charge per day. I do not expect to have to pay for basics like this at a supposedly 4* hotel. Our original room was on the first floor, directly above the bar area which had live music on every night leading to our young children being unable to sleep. I had to request to be moved in the end, it was so loud I could hear every single word and the noise continued until 0130 some nights. The children’s evening entertainment was a kids disco every night, and it only started at 2130 or 2200. A bit of variety would have been preferable and an earlier start for the younger children.

The location was amazing. We had a sea view which was incredible. The rooms are large with everything you could ask for but are a little dated. This wasn’t an issue for us.

Excellent getaway for relaxing with a great service and views

I returned there twice in 3 weeks. And it means something! Both times I was upgraded one level up - from half board to full board / from breakfast to half board. And both times from side view to the sea to full view although hotel was fully booked. Great food, you can find something different every day. 20-30min drive from Malaga airport. Beach, restaurants around.

Quiet location on the sea front

Nice, quiet location. Just far enough out of the centre to avoid the hustle & bustle. There is a bus stop outside the hotel to take you to the marina or to Torremolinos. And another to take you up to Arroy de miel (Benalmadena village) The lobby is big and has stunning views of the sea. The pool areas are well looked after and there are plenty of sun loungers. The restaurant is clean & there is a lot of choice at all the buffets Our room was big & had an amazing sea view. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. There is a mini fridge if you want to put drinks in to keep then cool.

The temperature of the room is controlled by the hotel. The room was too hot for us. I had a bath & struggled to get out! The grab rail was much too high & the bath was too slippy! Very dangerous 😳.
