SOL by Meliá Puerto Marina

We really enjoyed the service, and the entire team was wonderful. We were especially impressed by the kitchen team — both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a great variety of delicious food. The pool area is fabulous and very well maintained, making it a lovely place to relax. The hotel also has a fantastic location: the sea is just a one- or two-minute walk away, which was extremely convenient.

The air-conditioning system needs renovation. The hotel initially provided us with a two-room apartment with two built-in A/C units. Both units worked, but there was condensate leaking from the ceiling in the corridor, and the constant dripping made it difficult for us to sleep well. We were also unable to regulate the temperature properly. We set the desired temperature, but the A/C continued to overcool the rooms. The reception team offered us another apartment near the pool area, which we accepted. Unfortunately, similar problems occurred there as well. One of the A/C units also leaked condensate, although this time the water was dripping in the bathroom, so it was less disturbing. We simply placed a bucket underneath to collect the water.

Excellent location. Nice pool and grass area.

Rooms needed painting, air con was literally non existent. Stayed in a studio . Reported aircon issue on first day and when we went out maintenance entered our room without our knowledge to look at air con proceeded to use toilet left seat and lid up didnt flush and came back to foul smelling room and p** in loo. Not ok and i immediately went to reception to report . Passed my grievance to management who contacted me following evening then said they spoke to maintenance and nobody said they did that . Like wow who is going to take accountability for such an act. Very disappointed with sol Meliá way of dealing with things. Literally fobbed me off.
