A great stay with welcoming staff. Great location and lovely room.

The location and communications were excellent. The room was clean, a good size and lovely balcony. Windows on both sides made the room light and airy. Would recommend and stay again.

Other guests coming and going echoed along the corridors but not a massive issue.

Excellent!!

Staff were exceptionally friendly! Gave us maps to help us navigate the streets which we found a massive help! The beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in! Location was perfect!

The only negative thing I would say is, the room was cleaned on our second day, beds were made etc, however the bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied. Due to the toilet roll having to go in the bin we found this quite unhygienic.

Brilliant wonderful definitely to be repeated

The hostel lives up to it's name as in "Charming" Hostel the outside of the building is so pretty and the inside is lovely too - we stayed in the superior room with a balcony 307 - lovely refurbished room, comfortable bed and perfect for 3 nights stay Well equipped and we made use of the kettle & fridge although some mugs would have been good - we bought some Good that there were couple of bottles of water in the fridge too We loved the entry system so easy to use and no keys to worry about The staff we saw were very friendly - even sending us videos of how to enter at night as we arrived on a late flight We borrowed beach towels so saved on space in hand luggage and was able to leave case too on the last day whilst we went out Just to note it's easy walk from the train station down the winding steps no problem and there's the lift for the way up although there can be queues so allow time We didn't find it a noisy location - there's aircon and a ceiling fan so no need to have windows or doors open Perfect location for the beach and we would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyable stay. Great for solo travellers

Literally charming building , great location and super helpful staff. In fact it was even better than I had expected. There were 3 communal terraces too. The room is just like a hotel room no sharing.

There’s nothing bad to say here. The only thing to note is there’s no lift and I was on 3rd floor but in any event the kind gentleman on the front desk didnt hesitate to carry my case. So there weren’t any problems.

Highly recommend a little gem

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, staff very helpful, Pedro on reception was outstanding explained everything and gave us recommendations for restaurants and a detailed map , the hotel is immaculate, so clean , comfortable bed and lovely hot shower . The room had a fridge , water , toiletries . The location is excellent , we will definitely be back

Loved It!

It is in a great place, close to beach, with nice cafes around. Very clean and comfy. This part of the city wakes up very late so you can sleep even until noon, and not worry about the noise. We stayed there for more than a week.

The location for the beach and restaurants was brilliant. Five minute walk to beach. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms kept so clean. The hosts were really helpful and suggested some really good restaurants. Offers really good value for money. Air conditioning worked really well.

This hostal lives up to its name and really is charming. Spotlessly clean cool rooms with nice en-suite bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff and great location near to the beach , nice cafes and most importantly , very near to the lift up to the main town !

Location is perfect, in the center of everything and only few steps from the beach. The host is very likeable and helpful. Room was simple but very clean plus we had access to the small terrace.

Great place if you don’t have light sleep

Pedro from Micaela Charming Hostal was very helpful, gave us a lot of useful informations, even upreaded a room. The room was newly redecorated and very clean

The hotel is centraly located with lot of pubs and restaurants who are working untill very late, so it is not easy to sleep
