Everthing was extremely well organised, and a very calm and relaxed atmosphere
Sauna/Spa facilities are small and 20 Euro for 45 minutes is high compaired to other hotels in Spain and abroad where for that price you can enjoy the basic facilities of the spa for hours

I really loved everything ❤️
The bed and pillows I found was so uncomfortable

Wonderful staff, very welcoming and helpful across the board. Very pleasant and clean public space and facilities. Good restaurants.
Sound insulation between the guest rooms isn’t very good. We could hear the phone ringing and people speaking normally in the adjacent rooms.

Lovely clean and friendly place can not fault it, we have been 3 times now and will return again. Staff are amazing and so nice and nothing is a problem
I wish my bed at home was that comftable I could roll over 3 times and still not come in contact with the mrs!
Cleaner was so friendly every morning when we seen her, staff at front of house wer so helpful and polite. Staff in restaurant on a morning wer also very friendly, we sat on roof top and the wind blew my drink over and within a minute the staff replaced it for free and cleaned up in a matter of minutes like it didnt happen and it was no issue at all, the young waitress was excellent, the biggest thing for me was they smile! And a smile goes a long way! We feel very welcome here thank you
There is nothing we didnt like about the hotel hence why we keep going.

Excellent bed.
Excellent size of room.
Excellent Veranda
Good entertainment in the bar.
Most things were of good quality, we'd definitely consider rebooking here.
Hammering noise from the adjacent room in the second week we were there (we suspected removing tiles from the bathroom), to the extent that we complained at the from desk and were offered a change of room, which we took, unfortunately the bed in the second room was far less comfortable.
Living room furniture was not too comfortable.
Due to mobility issues we selected the ground floor suite when booking, but when we arrived we discovered that the hotel doesn't have ground floor rooms which we were a bit confused about, (we did get a room on the first floor).
Building work directly across the road going on - though it was January so maybe forgivable.

Beautiful room. Very comfy with a massive television.
The hotel is centrally located, and the staff is extremely helpful and cordial.
The breakfast was superb. Very fresh and a great buffet.
We couldn't really work the aircon (probably our fault), no iron in the rooml and the fact that there was only a small bottle of curtesy water for 2.

breakfast was very good, and the room was clean. There is no coffee machine, only a kettle.
We visited this hotel with our 6-year-old child, and it felt not very child-friendly. There are no playgrounds or children’s pools, and children are only allowed in the indoor spa pool from age 16. The rooftop pools are not accessible for children, and all outdoor pools are unheated. Parking under the hotel is available for an additional fee (€20 per day), and sunbeds at the beach also cost extra (€18 in November).

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night on the way back from a wedding, but we wish it was longer. The location was fabulous, rooms and sea view spectacular, we didn't get a chance to check out the rooftop or try the food, but we would definitely come back and stay.
We weren't there long enough!!

Fantastic hotel. Staff were incredibly helpful, always had a smile on their face!
Spa facilities brilliant.
Went half board and the food was great, good selection and tasty!
Would recommend and will definitely be coming back here!
Nothing, liked everything!

The property was very well located, the beach is in front of the hotel and the beach club is very good. Sun beds need to be paid separate.
We went with our one and a half year old baby and everyone treated us very well. The breakfast is very good quality and the restaurants in general were good
Internet connection was not very good and we needed to pay every day we wanted clean beach towels. I would expect the hotel to absorb that cost considering the hotel is not cheap. All the rest is was amazing and I would definitely come back

All round excellent hotel - cannot fault it at all. Rooftop pool very relaxing indeed!
I tried the full board as never done so anywhere before and can say for me eating buffet 3 times a day gets a bit much - there are so many great restaurants at good prices I do recommend getting out and about!

Location
Under ground parking too expensive and some spaces were far too small to park one’s car !
Very unorganised slow check in !! Took us one hour to check in at 2.00 pm on a Sunday 20/7 !

Nice breakfast, lots of options and always able and I get a seat. Multiple pools but people reserved sunbeds around them which were limited and they were small so we opted for the beach instead.
Comfy bed, nice room and great to have a free safe. We were often kept awake by guests in the room next door due to their tv though. We were offered an ‘upgrade’ to level at a cost of €500 for our stay - we’re glad we opted out of this and weren’t drawn into the sales pitch as there was work being done throughout each day and the rooms looked very similar (you can see into them from your balcony - all rooms are over looked by eachother ) we were given a lovely note and sparking wine to acknowledge our honeymoon stay though which was a nice touch and appreciated
Shouldn’t be able to reserve sunbeds. Would also be better if the sunbeds at the beach club were only available for hotel guests as we could never get one … we had to go to another beach club which was a shame . Great to have sea view but we often had to have our blinds closed due to other guests having full view of the room. Would be good if there was privacy glass added. The spa was €20 each but only the sauna was working and the pool was small, we spent around 40 minutes in here in total and in all honestly isn’t worth the cost, you can get a massage locally for €30

Fantastic breakfast, selections, great orange juice.
Prefer plain croissants without sugar glaze but otherwise, all good.
Great to have the gym, small but usually quiet.
Loved the rooftop pool area, such good vibes.
Staff super friendly and helpful.

I liked everything. Melia Costa Del Sol continually improves its services. You don't have to go out of the hotel grounds/beach if you prefer not.

Absolutely family friendly hotel! I love that everyone was so attentive not just to us but to our little one who’s just 16 months old - no one panicked when she threw a tantrum as she was teething.
Food is also absolutely delicious!
Thank You to Melia Team 🙂
Accessing the Spa Pool was not free it was €20 for an hour and only if not fully booked - I certainly think this should be accessible to all guests.
The beach club was also charged to hotel guests - you couldn’t sit in the beach beds it was charged at €19 a day so for guests who want to be at the beach please prepare yourself for this added expense.
The water was during dinner was also charged which did not make any sense - why are guests being charged for a bottle of water while having dinner?

Amazing if you book the level rooms. Lovely staff, comfy bed, great bathroom. Fab toiletries. The canapés and drinks on the the level were good too. Only compliant was room was a bit small.

We were surprised by the excellent quality of the breakfast and we would like to give a shout out to Juani. She has been exceptionally nice with us and complied with all our requests. Also, she recognises us each time we come to the hotel. Thank you Juani.
The bathrooms are a bit old and could improve with a little "refreshment". We came now twice to the hotel, and each time the check-in was a bit slow, but nothing major.

Excellent choice of breakfast, the lounge and the bar area were very comfortable.
Could mot find a fault with anything bar lifts too small and not enough of them.

Location - just next to the beach; well organised breakfast and lunch, good food; nice central bar. Big apartment - master suite
We didn't like the hotel against-family policy. Although we had a level room (master suite) and paid over 4000 euros for the reservation, we weren't allowed to the spa, weren't allowed to the terrace, weren't allowed at the level lounge. Why? Because we were accompanied by our 7 year old extremely well behaved child (as if we could have left him at the entrance like a dog to wait for us, adults).
We dared to go to the terrace for 5 minutes just to see the view from the top of the hotel (not to access any of the services provided there) and immediately after stepping on the terrace an employee (a lady) yelled at us several times: FAMILIES NOT ALLOWED, YOU HAVE TO LEAVE!!! Embarrassed by her yelling, we left right away. Treated like trespassers and humiliated, we made ourselves a promise: never return at Melia again.
I can understand if you want to keep your hotel especially for seniors, if you continue not to provide services dedicated to children, but don't restrain their access to the facilities made for everyone.
Such a shameful policy!!!

The location
It wasn't clean, the sheets smelled really bad, the towels as well. And it wasn't a sea view as I asked, not worth the money at all.

Food is great! Really very good, thank you.
The rooms are very ordinary. I was told on check-in that I'd been given an upgrade but the room was nothing special at all - bland, corporate decor/furnishings - while the sea view left a lot to be desired.
8.0 / 10.0
A large range of facilities and the rooftop areas are great for chilling away from the busy seafront area
The rooms are probably due a refurb but not a huge issue
7.0 / 10.0
The food and drinks were fab
The beds were very uncomfortable and the rooms weren't really sound proof. When we checked in the staff were lovely but they told us nothing about the hotel and where things were. We had to ask people where they got their towels for the pool (it's in the spa)
