Check in was embarrassing we asked if we could get a pool view and we were swiftly reminded if u book a budget room you get a budget room. on the top of his voice. A bit rude to be honest. He did say we could upgrade to a premium suite for an extra 92 euro and that we would have a view. This what happens when you book with a third party he said. Outrageous. Food was not good very poor standard. We saw the staff reheat already overcooked food in the fryer and put it back out. Selection was poor and repetitive Coffee was terrible. Drinks are very expensive.1 measured vodka and coke from the machine was 10.20 euro hence the reason nobody was drinking at the bar accept at happy hour between 6/7 o'clock..And also you get charged 2.60 for small water with your dinner when you have half board. Could not believe it. Next day when I brought my own water to dinner a staff member came and took the drinking glasses off the table. For a 4star hotel I think this is a disgrace.

Wished we could have stayed longer.

Excellent location. The Hotel was spotless, the Staff were very Friendly, and very efficient. The Breakfast and breakfast area was more than ample. Fried food wasn't to my liking but the fresh Fruit. breads Cheeses Hams etc Certainly made up for it. The pools and.pool are was really well Maintained. Would I.stay again? In a heartbeat. P.s you can book a taxi at reception for 25euro this includes Luggage. If you book a taxi by yourself they Charge 6.89 for.your Luggage before the meter starts. P.s I don't drink but happy hour is between 6-7 . Hotel is about 5mins walk to.the Beautiful port of Benalmadena.

Nit picking. Our Room was a junior Suite on the ground floor at the back of the Hotel. But I probably could have asked for a switch. Only really two issues with the Location one was they Stacked the Crates beside our Room that kept Crashing down with the Wind. Second the Toilet was extremely loud when flushing and kept Flushing for sometimes a minute. I didn't complain to reception but if I had I'm sure it would have been Addressed. A little bit Bland in places. Maybe a few more Pictures. But overall I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean modern hotel only good thing

Headphones were stolen from me they would not check cameras were i left them, I checked out 5 days earlier they told me they would refund the 5 nights if I got onto booking.com but when I went home and done that they refused to refund the 5 nights also tryed to be ripped of more than once by staff at dinner and also when ordering drink. Food was very poor highly recomend not booking a option for any sort of food option added extra.

A bit outdated. Blue lighting at all communal areas was not suitable, had a clinic effect and made food look weird. TVs in the room are not smart and cannot be connected to phones. We had 2 tvs and couldn't watch anything.

Great location , close to marina, prom and beach. Beautiful breakfast, cereals, breads, fruit, choice of hot food.

My daughter’s room was directly above and near the hotel’s air conditioning (I think) unit. It was pretty noisy if you wanted to sit out on the balcony to read. Once the door was closed you couldn’t hear it. It was a Mediterranean suite view but unfortunately because of time of year , it was practically in shade all day. Marina, pool view suite was much better.

Basic room , we booked VIP and it didn’t feel like it . The lounge area for the drinks 10-6 was disappointing. Basically you are in the office area or fenced off in a tiny lounge with TV.opposite.No VIP breakfast area as this year it finished earlier than last. Lighting in room very poor Console table under TV would be good or beside cabinets with drawers so you have somewhere to put underwear etc instead of a crate.

Great hotel, lively, great breakfast

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here as a group of friends. Breakfast is fab, lots of choice and always of good quality. We love the roof top pool for a day of adult only chilling, this is extra £ but you get it back in food and drinks. Rooms are spacious and well equipped.

Check in is always a long wait - not sure why it takes so long when you do pre check in. Although we love the roof top bar/pool you have moved the day beds to the back, these should be in prime position at the front as you loose the sun early.

With some additional improvements this could be a really good hotel

The location is really good, the exterior also looks nice, new/renovated. The breakfast was good value for money, while the lunch should have been better. The front two pools were ok. The size of the room was good.

The rooms need a decent uplift, especially the bathrooms and the main beds. While the bathrooms are very old and needlessly have a bathtub (where a shower is better, more practical…), the main bed is actually two old screechy metal frames put together which constantly fall and move apart. When we asked if that was a mistake they said that only premium suites have an actual double bed and offered only a double bed cover which helped minimally. For a purported 4 star hotel at that price this is plain and simple unheard of and frankly unacceptable. When you are on vacation, active all day, exhausted etc you need to have a comfortable sleep. The pools (of which one is decent size and the other is very small, not counting the third tiny by the bar, the tiny tiny for the babies or the inaccessible on the rooftop) are also not that practical, especially if you have kids. During our stay the main pool got soiled by little babies/kids every 3rd day and then closed the whole day. Furthermore, the pools’ depth are 1.4m everywhere so it is both impractical for small kids as well as adults. It should start from let’s say 80cm and go to at least 1.8-2m. A few more things could also be improved

Never any beds available by pools, a lot of children around, granted it is Summer holidays. Would be nice to maybe have one of the pools and a section of beds adults only for a couple of hours a day, even taking a dip wasnt relaxing as constantly being swam into or splashed by kids jumping in. Ended up on the beach more often due to lack of loungers

Great location, lovely modern hotel.

Great location, and access to the beach. Clean and accommodation. Really liked the fact that the half board was allowed for lunch and evening meal.

Lovely rooms but could have done with a little more storage when travelling with the kids. It would be on the small size with larger kids (ours were 3 and 5). The pool is also very deep with young kids and it was very cold. But we were there in March so can’t complain.

It was so close to the beach it was also near the Benalmadena marina with all that has to offer and the lovely promenade which has an abundance of restaurants to choose from also the breakfast in the hotel had so much choice.

It all worked out in the end. Fortunately I had plenty of room on my credit card!

I liked the room I paid another £200 for, but the room advertised and booked was that AWFUL! The original picture on the ad showed a gorgous garden which I could walk onto. But what the real situation was it was in the shade, grim part of the hotel and to the side of the front entrance with a view of people coming and going and the car park. There was no balcony. More of a porch with a chair and table. For what purpose? Maybe a smoker or if you have absolutely no plans to spend ANY time in the room. I like to sit on a sunny terrace or balcony in Spain (which I paid the additional fee for), in the morning. Staff were lovely. Cleaners were fabulous. Buffet was great. Just don't trust the pictures or pay more for a sunny balcony! :-)

Ok but loud plumbing

The sea view suite is nice and spacious. However, there’s nothing in the minibar for immediate access. You have to scan a QR code, order it and have it brought up. A big plus is the gym!!! Great facility and equipment BUT there’s no water in the space. I had to go up 6 floors to get mine and get back down again.

Plumbing is noisy!!! Not just of the own room’s. Every time someone above or next door (not sure) would flush their toilet, there was the same loud sound as if flushing the room’s one. Location… near the Benalmádena Marina, but far if you want to use any public transportation.
