Very highly recommended - without any reservations. You will not regret staying here.
Where to start... This is a long review, so if you simply want the "summary" view, skip to the end. :) Terra Aloe is situated an easy 5-10 minute walk from the railway station in Torromolinos. There is a small supermarket that is also easily accessible on the way to and from the guest house... should you need it. The guest house is situated at the crest of a gently inclined road. We arrived at night , having already arranged a "latter than expected" arrival time. No matter. Both Mickael and Cedric met us at the entrance and immediately made us feel very comfortable. The room that we had, adjoined the main house, so we had a separate entrance. The room itself was a nice size, including the most comfortable king size bed that we have even slept on (whilst on holiday). The mattress is certainly no cheap piece of foam. It was amazing. The room was clean and tidy with some very nice touches - dressing gowns, bath towels, beach towels (for the hot tub and outdoor swimming pool) hand towels, lotions, a personalized toilet kit, water filter jug, radio, kettle, teas/coffees etc. There were double sinks with a big lighted mirror, en-suite toilet and separate shower cubicle, together with cupboard and shelf space. Very very nice. The hosts themselves are simply wonderful. Breakfast was originally sheduled for 9:20am+ We asked to change this to a little earlier (9am) No problem. for the first 5 days we were the only guests. The first breakfasts were literally a family affair. Both Michael and Cedric not only served everything, but joined us at the family table. It was absolutely wonderful. We chatted whilst we ate breakfast, every day. I cannot put into words how nice this was. It was the first time ever that we had had an opportunity to enjoy breakfasts with the family. Michaels mum also joined us, though her english is not as good as her son's. The cat strolled by, ignoring everyone, like the infamous scarlet pimpernel...
... Gizmo (the parrot) however, wanted to be part of everything. It was like going back in time ... to when eating and talking together over a proper 'kitchen' table was normal. Brilliant. A lot of the produce on the table is home made too: Jams, Bread, Yogurt, Cakes, Muffins. You also have a choice of scrambled eggs, fried egg, fruit cocktail, orange juice, a cheese platter and selection of local sliced meats; together with coffee and tea of course. Sometimes we spent over 50 minutes at the breakfast table - the experience was really that nice ... though perhaps not for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Towards the end of the holiday we were joined by a nice lady from the Netherlands... and again, we all sat down together, at the same table talking about all sorts of things. It was, without doubt, the absolute best way to start every day. We really felt like we were part of the family at Terra Aloe. Absolutely outstanding. Both hosts were extemely thoughtful, nice, pleasant, accomodating and a mine of information. They have been living in the house since 2020. They are french, not spanish, so we were able to practice a little french or spanish every day. Cedric also offers massage treatments in another section of the house... and though we never took him up on that option, I'm pretty sure it would be awesome. The outdoor pool was cold (in the 'winter' when we visited) at 14 degrees only ... but was refreshingly so (if you don't mind getting cold) before jumping into the hot tub (at 36 degrees) to warm back up again - both of which were well maintained. The whole guest house was very well looked after. These guys work hard .. and it shows. Top class.

    A nice stay at Torremolinos
I usually stay in hotels for both business and personal trips, as I really value the consistent standards. This was my first time spending a significant part of my summer vacation in Torremolinos – and also my first experience staying in a “private property” rather than a hotel. Here are my impressions: Hosts: Cédric and Mikaël welcomed me with great kindness and were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always polite and friendly. I truly appreciated their hospitality. On two occasions, when I urgently needed a laptop, they kindly provided one – something I was very grateful for. Room & Facilities: The guest room was cozy and comfortable. Considering the high temperatures in late July, the air conditioning was a big plus. Although there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room, they promptly provided a cooler, which worked perfectly. An issue with the toilet was also resolved very quickly. The pool and jacuzzi are in ideal size and lovely, and the upper garden – with its wonderful view – offers a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Spending time alone by the pool was truly priceless. Breakfast: It was delicious, with nice handmade touches. If you speak French, you can join in the conversations; otherwise, you can only speak Mikaël in English. Good to mention:It is worth noting, there is a bit of noise (very short) because of the train passing under the house. Honestly, it was a surprise at first, but apart from that, the setting is very quiet and relaxing. Location:The house is in a prime location and close to everything you need (train station, supermarkets, restaurants, beach). Overall, I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay, and I’m thankful to the hosts for their kindness and efforts.
Suggestions for Improvement: 1-It would be helpful to have a “Do Not Disturb” sign for the door, especially for cleaning or general access. Entering without prior notice can be uncomfortable. 2-Given the summer heat, having a cooler (or a small portable fridge) permanently in the room would be ideal. 3-Providing basic amenities like shampoo, shower gel, and soap in "reasonable sizes" would be appreciated, especially for the ones who stay longer than 3 days. The shower gel provided was in sample-sized, and I ended up buying my own shampoo from the supermarket. And a hand soap was provided upon my request.

City-close, Beautiful villa, its a pure guest house (owners will supervising you)
Very friendly host, a Beautiful place close to city center.
We felt a little uncomfortabke since the host couple lived in the house, and we felt like we interrupted in their home. Perhaps fits for some, but it wasnt for us.

Fantastic is the only word to describe this accommodation
The accommodation is immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable The hosts are very friendly. We all ate breakfast in the morning it was like staying with family. The choice at breakfast was excellent fruit salad home made yoghurt and cake and pancakes etc. The position of the accommodation is ideal and very quiet. There are absolutely no negatives and I shall definitely visit again.
I think if you are not very mobile then there a lot of steps to the accommodation which could be tricky for some especially the ones to the swimming pool, but instead of going swimming you could have a superb massage from one of the owners
