Falling apart

Location to the beach was .2 miles

I have no idea why this hotel is rated so highly. The rooms are so badly maintained. Mold in the showers, wood framing falling apart, pressboard deteriorating. Our balcony was completely enclosed and you could not see out. The bunk bed was falling apart and unsafe for child, as well made loud noises anytime anyone in it moved. And if you want to lock or unlock the door you have to use a key that turns on a card, so the lights turn off. Are other’s paid for their reviews? How are we treating the same hotel?

Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Convenient for the metro (10 minute walk).

Wouldn’t suit everyone unless you have a car. I came out of season as well, so it was really quiet.

Rooms were fine. Bathrooms were fine. Short walk to the sea front and lots of excellent restaurants and a pretty high street

Good, varied breakfast with hot and cold items, clean rooms(if newly sanitised- smells of bleach), comfy bed, close to beach and walkable to train station. Very good water pressure and hot water. Nice-looking small pool. Good value.

The bathrooms need some TLC both fittings and the plumbing (to reduce smell) and a little sound-proofing(though about average).

Room was clean with stunning view toward the sea. Fridge in the room was a nice addition as well. Pool area very clean and the vending machines were excellent!!!

Staff miserable and mocked me when I complained the room door was being left open every day by cleaner. Not good enough! Breakfast is poor. 14 different plates of cheap meat and cheese for non meat eaters! Staff also moody. Room was in poor repair 2 plug sockets for the room - each with the tv in one and fridge in other. No where to charge anything and it's 2025.

Amazing Views

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. I booked a superior room with sea view and terrace and it was perfect. It was a lovely, spacious room with nice balcony and amazing view of the sea. Very comfortable bed with good linens and towels. Good amount of cable tv offerings and the wifi worked well. Bathroom was nice sized and well equipped with great water pressure and good bath products. Breakfast was included in the rate an was very good with a variety of food items. Even though it was off season, the overall rate for a one night stay was fantastic. We took a nice walk on the beach after breakfast and the weather was perfect for it. I just wish we had time to visit the town longer.

Access to the onsite parking was confusing and stressful with a steep incline. After several attempts to locate the entrance, I ended up parking on a street not far away. Its a safe enough community so it wasn't too inconvenient.

Need to get a taxi everywhere if you have an elderly lady with you... sent an email in advance to advise of my mother in laws 90th birthday and no courtesy to even acknowledge the event.. very disappointed with that won't ever go back
