Great if you don’t want to sleep all night!! Pity as its a great location

Great location right next to the beach and the pedestrianised road with all the shops and bars

Bring ear plugs!!! Paper thin walls. Can hear nearby rooms flushing toilet and turning sink tap on. Noisy from floors above. People slamming doors and loud lock mechanism. People coming in at all hours talking really loud! No consideration for other guests and no notice asking people to be quiet after a certain time. I went to bed at 11 but was woken up at 1.30 u til 4 am with people coming in and talking loud in their rooms! Im sure one loud man was from the reception! Non stop talking all night !! The sound carries and echos! Best to be on the top floor if you stay here.

Walls must be very thin as we could hear a bath being run next door - at 4.30am! Customers scraping furniture across floors - very annoying and selfish but not the hotel's fault.

The staff was really kind and helpful..the view was spectacular..and so clean..excellent location..taxi took about 15 mins and cost less than 20 euros. The beach was direct out side and the sun rise was too..absolutely beautiful..we will be back for sure. Thankyou to the lovely gent who gave us a lovely welcome and advice on the butterfly santuary to visit..he even gave us a map so we could catch the correct bus near by..we was so please and price was a bargin..loved it.

Christmas from my dreams at the Hotel Moon Dreams

I like it so much so I made my stay longer. For the first time in my life, I had such a relaxing, cozy and magical Christmas holiday of my life. All thanks to the receptionist team and the atmosphere at the hotel.

Hyggelight Christmas holiday at the Hotel Moon Dreams

The most I like as Danish says the "hyggelight" atmosphere of the place. Which is created, first of all, by the amazing receptionist team. The second of all is the beautiful interior design. And what I love completely, was my room with a magnificent view. Every day the sound of the waves lulled me in the deepest sleep. And after a peaceful night, I was woken by a breathtaking sunrise. The time which I spent in those conditions relaxed me completely. It has been the best Christmas holiday ever.

I didn't like that I had to leave that wonderful place and go back to reality. I wish I could stay longer and I can't wait to go back there again.

Nice , but won’t be back due to noise .

The hotel is ideally situated for the beach , shopping centre etc.

The noise in the hotel coming from outside made it very difficult to get any meaningful sleep. We went out of season however it was still fairly busy. This meant that with a young family , the noise of others from the Main Street the hotel is situated was unbearable . My suggestion would be to install sound proof sliding doors to help eliminate sound . The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I would also suggest rethinking the shower curtain situation . The curtain was fixed in place which left a large area of open space for water to spill on to the bathroom floor . Therefore most of our towels were used to dry the floor for fear of slipping over .

Does not deserve two star rating.

I have stayed at this hotel (as well as The Tiburon) many times in previous years before they were purchased by Moon Dreams inc. They used to fall into the cheap and cheerful category but now they are overpriced and a bit shabby.

The air conditioning barely kept the room a few degrees cooler than the temperature outside when set to full. We had requested a bathtub, which turned out to be too small to even sit in. Great location on Carihuela seafront, but for a little bit more there are plenty of clean, modern four star hotel rooms available.

Clean, comfy and friendly

Extremely clean and very nice facilities. Perfect location to go anywhere. Near grocery shopping and restaurants. You dont hear noises from outside and you have a great view from the hooftop. The reception staff is very polite and respectful. The young woman in reception has perfect English and made all easier to me.

Not clean. We had a room with no terrace and the only window led to the hallway. We didn't have any intimity. We had to keep the window covered with courtains all day. Location is good but it doesn't compensate the room conditions. And we paid a lot compared to other hotels.

Good

Location was great, situated amongst lots of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and right on the beach front. Access to the hotel is from a pedestrianised street but the taxi drop is only 20m around the corner similarly the beach front. We had a sea view from the small balcony which was lovely. As we visited in early February the balcony went into shade early afternoon but it was very pleasant to sit out in the morning.

Early mornings were a little noisy with what sounded like furniture being moved around. Not sure if this was cleaners above or from the cafe below.
