Exceptional experience with a keen attention to detail:)

Absolutely everything from the minute we stepped into the hotel was exceptional. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff and given a welcome drink/ snack, keeping us pleasantly busy while the staff collected the necessary information for our stay. We were then led to our room and given a brief tour. The room itself was gorgeous, well stocked mini bar, spacious with a large bathroom and balcony with a lovey view. There was also a possibility of requesting different pillows to suit your needs which was a great detail. We also decided to head down for dinner- which was our highlight of our stay. Extensive wine list and a great menu. The service during dinner went above and beyond and the food was excellent. Steak was cooked to perfection. We also had amazing starters and desserts. There was an incredible lady playing piano, very talented:) 10/10 dinner experience! We also had a great breakfast with many options. We had a chance to visit the spa/ pool and sauna which was great, the lady at the spa desk kindly fit us in for an hour slot on a busy day despite us not having a reservation:)

Nothing much. Only two things : The only thing was that the breakfast did not have a wide selection and it was a bit slow as you had to order your meal from a list. The quality was excellent. One other thing , People could see through the windows as they get to their room.

Best hotel i have stayed in

Breakfast was fantastic and coffee hot and lovely. Sea view lovely balcony bed comfortable. We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff great room was very clean and toiletries were all Clarins best toiletries I have ever had in a hotel. We were upgraded to a duplex by the receptionist on arrival our balcony was huge. The restaurant food was fantastic also great menu. We went to the pueblo and ate at the Plaza restaurant this was fantastic recommend the lamb. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. Drink on arrival lovely touch cant wait to come back Mr and Mrs Parry

The location didn’t match the standard of the hotel. The room was very dark even with lights on. Had to use my phone torch to work the safe and the coffee machine.

Lovely, relaxing, comfortable stay. We left refreshed and tranquil.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Privacy, cleanliness and comfort were superb. Small considerations, gifts and touches like Clarins, soaps, shampoos and body lotions was a very pleasant surprise and enjoyed accompaniment. Private beachfront sunbeds with beach towels and pool towels readily available. Entertainment at dinner included a flamenco show one night and pianist on another night. Both were very enjoyable. Had a wonderful stay.

The food was good but not superb. There was a flamenco show one evening for a set price with a bbq included. The starters which was self-serve was very nice. The bbq was quite bland, unseasoned and average at best. Another night the main course served by the restaurant was average. Mind you that the ambiance and staff was all wonderful.

Loved the size of the hotel, the room and the attitude of the staff; helpful and friendly but professional. The toiletries were great. The dining room has a spectacular view and we real enjoyed lady playing the piano at dinner; the food was good too.

A Fantastic Hotel, truly a 5 Star at A great Price

This is truly a 5 star hotel. The service and staff treat you like royalty! From the welcome drink to the exceptional breakfast and the restaurant which rivals any Michelin mention restaurant, and the sea view rooms... and the customer friendly touches like free bikes, and complimentary beach lounge accommodations, just some examples. Highly recommend this hotel! A hint however, if I had booked directly with the hotel, they would have included free parking and a discounted rate!

Malaga in May

the location was perfect for a beach holiday. Public transport was also well connected. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were very well maintained. The option of two outdoor pools and 1 indoor was perfect. It never felt crowded anywhere.

The only negative .. if I have mentioned. There were not enough plug points in the room.

Disappointing sadly!

The staff were great but the hotel seems very run down and dated. Lots of dirty sun loungers and the rooms are in need of modernisation. We had a bathtub which hadn’t been cleaned properly and had other peoples hair in it which was off putting.

The whole place needs modernisation. The rooms were quite dark. Each room has a pair of sun loungers out the front but this means people sit on the loungers late into the night drinking, talking and generally it was very noisy until about 1am so we didn’t sleep well at all.

Absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location close to the boulevard with many bars and restaurants. We had a wonderful room with a large terrace facing the sea.

Disappointment

The location of the hotel is good, but our last stay was a disappointment due to a strong constant ventilation noise in the room and a very cold bathroom. That resulted in 2 sleepless nights out of 3 booked. I do feel that all what happened could be easily prevented from happening if someone would take care to prepare our room before our arrival. It was a bad experience for us. No-one offered a some sort of compensation for the uncomfortable stay at 5 star hotel !! We have been staying at this hotel in the past without problems and were looking forward to this visit, thus it was and it is even more disappointing to realise the failure of the hotel in meeting our expectations.
