Great accommodation option for short- and long-duration trips in CPH

Fantastic hotel base

Rooms were spacious, modern and clean, we had a comfortable stay. Bikes to hire were fab and we couldn’t have seen so much without them, a must to experience! Breakfast was tasty and there was a large selection to choose from, including make your own waffles!

The ventilation in the room did not work well, the room was quite warm and we had to ask for a fan and keep the window open.

Overall ok and good value for money but I would expect better things

Very good location

Room was small, no fridge, no cable TV and you can’t even connect to your own Netflix. You have to request cleaning of the room but no one tells you upfront at the check in

Disappointing stay.

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. The bar area was also very nice.

The hotel is very hard to find and not in a great area. We had to use Bolts into the city centre as too far to walk at night. The hotel room also remained very cold.

I like the location and staff were friendly, would consider to be back.

The hotel is closer to the station than I thought. There are a few restaurants near by. It’s convenient. I asked hotel to put me in a room as far as the night club, didn’t hear any noise when sleep.

The shower couldn’t drain properly, it became a small pond when I took shower. It was late and I didn’t complain that to staff because we only stayed two nights.

Scandic hotel is good. Location is not.

Scandic is a well known brand in Scandinavia. This hotel matches all expectations for the brand: good facilities, well maintained, clean, professional staff. Obviously, good WiFi at no additional cost. Excellent breakfast. Good bar on site.

Location, even though close to one of S-Tram stations, is not good; to get to City Hall or Central Station, you have to cross a very unpleasant neighborhood, or make a detour (which we did).

Clean rooms with great service. The breakfast was wonderful. The bed was comfortable And great sleep.

Pleasant stay

Staffs are very friendly, accommodating, helpful. Rooms are clean. Adequate choices for breakfast. Convenient location. Close to downtown.

Facilities are basic. It’s a bit pricey for the facility provided for North American tourists. Maybe it’s due to the high taxi rate in Northern Europe.

Exceptional hotel and exceptional breakfast.

Such a beautiful hotel, very modern and minimalistic style and design, quick self check-in and check-out, extremely quiet room, great location (so many great options around to eat and the city is walkable - we didn't use public transport apart from going to/from airport) and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast buffet I have ever experienced - plentiful, so many options, very good taste, amazing quality and so fresh. I was impressed.

Room wasn't cleaned in the 3 days we were there but I think I could have asked for it (which might've been in their welcome message which I didn't read properly) - but we were not bothered by it really as we spent most of our time outside exploring Copenhagen. If we stayed longer, I would asked for cleaning and fresh towels.

Young person's choice of hotel

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast included was huge buffet with lots of options. Parking was connected to hotel.

No instructions for how faucets in bathroom work. Took a bit to figure out. Shower has no door, so water ran all over floor making it slippery. Lots of people around due to active bar in lobby. More suited for younger clientele.

Excellent base for exploring the city.

The room had a loft with a single bed, which worked very well as I was travelling with my adult son and the configuration gave us each our own space, plus there was a sitting area so overall it was quite spacious. The breakfast was one of the best I've seen at a hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Halfway through our stay we realized the train station two blocks away gave us direct access to the main station to get anywhere quickly, but the walk from the main station was only 15 minutes and we enjoyed doing that too.

The only thing that was iffy was how slippery the floor of the shower was when wet. One front desk staff suggested laying a towel down right in the shower and that worked.

little Jewel

Easy to access two train stations. Clean minimalistic room, no frills, just comfortable. I will rate the breakfast as a 12 out of 10. Daniela at the reception, she was wonderful. She even went to my room to check how to switch lights on and off and left a note for me. It's quite a complicated click one, twice, all at once.

As a coffee drinker, no free coffee except included in the breakfast was not ideal to me.

Really enjoyed our stay!

Our room was lovely, really modern and well decorated. The whole hotel was the same. Breakfast was fab, great opening hours and such a good selection. All the staff were really helpful. Location was lovely, not central but we knew that from the map when we booked. It’s near a train station (3/4 min walk) and 10 min walk from the metro, lots of nice restaurants and bars near by

Our room was for 3 but there was only 2 of everything (mugs, cups etc), not too much bother but just a small attention to detail. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong so the room was quite hot but not unbearable.

Great location that doesn’t feel too touristy, comfortable beds, and lovely staff.

Great, lively location but not noisy overnight when you’re sleeping. Easy access to multiple public transport options, but I pretty much walked everywhere. Decent breakfast options, which is included in all room types.

The standard room doesn’t come with tea/coffee facilities. Don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel where I couldn’t make a cuppa in my room. Some of the room furniture was quirky, which looked good but wasn’t practical for my needs, e.g. bedside table not big enough to hold multiple devices.

Don't bother booking your breakfast time

Location

We were supposed to check in at 3PM. We got there two hours earlier and we were charged 20 euros for an "early" check in. We agreed to that, but not many hotels charge if you get a little bit early. We had to book the breakfast time, but nobody checked it. It was very crowded when we got there.

Great Bar, well equipped gym (which I have not used), 5 minutes walk from a train station and only 15 min walk from main station. Rooms were modern and comfortable (we each stayed one person per room. Slightly crowded if sharing). Large choice at Breakfast. It is a huge hotel with a service of a much more intimate place

Great stay!

The location was amazing, very close to the central station and in the middle of a trendy meatpacking district. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I left some stuff in the room after checking out and the kind receptionist helped me so kindly to pick it up a few hours later ❤️ Good breakfast with lots of options, and the cocktails at the bar were excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Lockers to store luggage require extra payment per hour, so that's something to keep in mind. The breakfast requires reservation of a slot and you have to make sure to book in advance: not possible to book on the same day. I wish we had a bit more natural light in the room, as the window we had was quite small.

Excellent hotel at a good price.

The hotel was near a metro station. The breakfast was rich, but there were too many people in the restaurant. The rooms are big. The hotel is great for the money we paid in this otherwise quite expensive city.

Our stay at the hotel was for 4 nights. If you want the room cleaned, you order cleaning. We ordered room cleaning only once, but they didn't change our towels or wash the bathroom, they just threw out the trash.

Wouldn't recommend

The bed was comfortable, even if the pillows were very small. Front desk staff were nice.

Make sure you try to get a room on the top floor. Otherwise, you will hear all the children running through the halls at all hours. The walls are paper thin and you can hear a person snoring in the next room. The location is okay, but the hotel is not very attractive. This is definitely more for families with small kids. The breakfast area was often crowded and you have to choose a really early time to find a decent table.

Our second time at the Scandic Kødbyen won't be our last. We can't wait to return.

The Scandic Kødbyen has a great location ten minutes from the main train station and fifteen from Tivoli gardens. We were assisted several times by friendly and helpful staff and also enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet every morning. We also appreciated their reservation system which ensures it's never too crowded.

The price was a little high but that's to be expected in Copenhagen.

Family of 5 approved!

The family room is big and comfortable. The location is perfect! Just a few minutes to a train station and bus stop, plus about 15 minutes walking to the central station. The breakfast was amazing! Many options for kids and adults, my favorite was the egg with tomato relish sauce. My kids loved the waffles so much (and the pancake too).
