Lovely modern decor, great location and value for money.

You had to request cleaning and emptying of bins. So I requested for our stay.They didn’t empty one day so bins were overflowing and had nappies.

The location was great. Access to early check in was helpful for early flights. Tidy facilities

Room was slightly smaller than expected.

Lovely hotel, full of life and mixed age of guests. Location was fine too, not busy city-centre. Breakfast was probably the best we have ever experienced in a hotel.

Only one thing was a disappointing. On the third of our four nights, the hotel was hosting a late night party/disco just two floors below. It was loud. Not just a dull thump thump, we could hear the songs clearly and the words. We were in bed by just after 10pm, expecting the music to stop by 11pm. By 23:15 the party was still in full swing, so I got dressed and went down to reception to inquire when the noise would stop. The staff were very sorry and helpful, I can't speak highly enough of them. However, even the man at the reception desk had no idea when the music would stop. After some phone calls, he told me he had been assured the party would stop at midnight. I went back to bed, and as it was impossible to sleep we waited until midnight. At 00:15 I was downstairs again asking what was happening. The man at reception was again very apologetic again but it was clear that he did not know when the noise would stop. It stopped at 01:00. The next morning after breakfast we went to the reception desk to lodge a formal complaint. The young lady at the desk was wonderful. She said another party had been booked for the coming night, so she would arrange for us to be moved to another room. That evening we found ourselves in an upgraded room, in a different part of the hotel, with a lovely card of apology on the table and all was well. We understand it was approaching Christmas time and lots of companies want to have a celebratory party. However, hotels are there primarily for people to sleep in, and it seems totally incompatible to offer hotel premises for companies to hold very loud late night parties near to guests who have paid to have a good night's sleep. We know we weren't the only guests complaining, the lady at reception said they had had lots of complaints. It seems to me the hotel chain needs to review its policy on holding very loud parties near to hotel guests who have paid just to have a good night's sleep.

Spacious and comfortable room. Delicious and varied breakfast buffet. Easy check-in/check-out system. Easy location to many touristic spots.

Nothing particular.

Rooms were spacious, modern and clean, we had a comfortable stay. Bikes to hire were fab and we couldn’t have seen so much without them, a must to experience! Breakfast was tasty and there was a large selection to choose from, including make your own waffles!

The ventilation in the room did not work well, the room was quite warm and we had to ask for a fan and keep the window open.

Very good location

Room was small, no fridge, no cable TV and you can’t even connect to your own Netflix. You have to request cleaning of the room but no one tells you upfront at the check in

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. The bar area was also very nice.

The hotel is very hard to find and not in a great area. We had to use Bolts into the city centre as too far to walk at night. The hotel room also remained very cold.

The hotel is closer to the station than I thought. There are a few restaurants near by. It’s convenient. I asked hotel to put me in a room as far as the night club, didn’t hear any noise when sleep.

The shower couldn’t drain properly, it became a small pond when I took shower. It was late and I didn’t complain that to staff because we only stayed two nights.
