Wonderful Two-Day Stay at Hotel Casanna

We had a wonderful two-day stay at Hotel Casanna in Davos. The location is excellent—quiet, away from the road, yet very close to the cross-country skiing centre. The room and beds were very comfortable, and the views from the terrace were stunning. The food was exceptional. We would happily stay here again.

Super bed linen for a good night's sleep

The hotel is located in a tiny street, very quiet, especially at night. Few restaurants and several shops could be reached within walking distance. The host was helpful and super friendly, speaks Italian. We were given the room in the basement (-2 floor) which is, however bright with big windows on the parking lot, big and comfortable, very clean despite the carpet; plenty of room for 2 people. The bathroom looked rather outdated, but it is spacious and functional with free toileteries. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style, very good variety and quality. Let me mention something though: bed sheets... some of the most soft and comfortable bed sheets I've ever experienced, it gave a full night sleep and no will to get out of bed. How do you make them so soft?? Overall fair quality vs price ratio for the place it is located.

There is a sheltered parking reserved for hotel guests, but it is not private or closed, just a roof on the side of the road under which you can park the car (or the motorbikes in our case). It has to be reached from a different street from the main address, small road, we missed it the first time. However, there is direct access from the parking lot to the rooms.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Davos

Very friendly staff and very clean hotel, great breakfast buffet and nice dinners. Rooms are clean and very comfortable - strongly recommending this place to all sorts of travelers.

Tolles Hotel zentral gelegen!

Die Bedienung im Restaurant war sehr nett und effizient. Auch die Auswahl am Morgen war super und das Restaurant hell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Parkplatz Benützung gratis war wirklich toll.

Das Zimmer war klein, aber wir wussten das vor der Buchung, alles Nötige war aber vorhanden!

Preisleistung des Hotels ist gut.

Die Lage des Hotels war optimal im Zentrum von Davos. Alle Bergbahnen waren mit öffentlichem Bus gut erreichbar. Das Auto konnten wir im Unterstand während unserem ganzen Aufenthalts gratis stehen lassen. Das Hotelzimmer war sehr ruhig und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war ausreichend.

Leider wollten wir spontan an einem Abend im Restaurant essen. Das war aber nicht möglich. Wir hätten es angeblich am Vorabend anmelden sollen. Das hatten wir nicht gewusst. Wir haben uns dann Take Away in einem nahe gelegenen Italiener geholt. :)

Meine Familie und ich werden in jedem Fall wieder Gast dieses Hauses werden.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, ruhig und optimal gelegen, mit einer überdachten Parkmöglichkeit, direkt am Haus. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich mit leckeren verschiedenen Brotsorten, Semmeln und Croissants.

Wir waren sehr zurieden und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Die Lage war gut. Die Busshaltestelle 1 Minute vom Hotel entfernt. 5 Minuten zum Jakobshorn 3 Minuten zur Parsennbahn. Wir waren zentral und erreichten alles in 20 Minuten auch zu Fuss.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Het was het beste verblijf van onze trip.

Wij werden vriendelijk ontvangen, en wegwijs gemaakt in het hotel. Wij waren er vroeg in de middag, de bagage op de kamer de auto onderdak, even zitten en lekker in de zon genieten op het in de ruime kamer aangrensde balkon. Tijd voor een wandeling om Davos even te verkennen kopje koffie en even eten. s'Avond lekker slapen in een heerlijk bed, en s' ochtends genieten van een uitgebreid ontbijt, met alles er op en er aan. Vriendelijke van oorsprong Nederlandse bediening, kortom een top verblijf gehad. Jammer dat wij afspraken hadden, wij hadden er graag een nachtje bij aangeplakt. TOP
