Enjoy your stay

I really enjoyed several things during my stay at the hotel: • The reception staff were very welcoming and cooperative. • The location is convenient and close to many services. • The size of the Superior Room was excellent. • The parking facility was very useful. • The room had a beautiful view.

There were a few things I did not like about the hotel: • The shower handle was very weak, and it was difficult to balance hot and cold water to get a suitable temperature. • The carpet in the room was not properly clean. • The kettle did not work well. • The tea and coffee in the room were not complimentary. • The parking was expensive. • There was no air conditioning in the room.

Overall the room facilities were top noch, customer service not so much.

- The hotel is well located and central - The room was extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing - The bed was extremely comfortable

- The staff weren’t very friendly - I was not placed in the Deluxe Room with Mountain views that I booked and paid for, I was very tired after a long drive from Italy and as was my puppy (who had already bounded happily into the room). Therefore I mentioned it in the morning, only to be told, I should’ve said something the evening as the hotel was not fully booked they could’ve changed my room. As far as I was concerned the staff should’ve done their job correctly and allocated me the room I clearly booked and paid for! - I didn’t want any compensation, but the way I was spoken to by the staff member in the morning was out of line! - The other thing is if you arrive later than 6.00pm, don’t let them tell you you there is no parking near by in order to upsell you their own parking, the parking next door is closer than their own for a fraction of the price! You can stay overnight for free until 8.00am when it then is paid per hour for max of two hours.

Great and affordable stay in Davos

Very good service and very affordable pricing for switzerland. Staff deals very professional with request. Something was wrong with my room and staff immediately offered new room, voucher and manager came by personally in the morning again to explain and discuss the situation.

- I travel a lot (business and leisure) but I have never met such a friendly and helpful team with such a good mood - the beds very confortable - free parking - i had a really large room

- overall there is no really a "bad thind" - breakfast buffet was good but not outstandig - the hotel is not located neary by "the Jackobsbahn"

Convenient and solid quality - would stay again

The room has been quite tastefully renovated and I enjoyed my balcony with street and mountain view on the third floor. The receptionist on the day I arrived was new, but already very helpful and friendly. The staff at the breakfast, which was really tasty, was carefully separating the group tourists from work guests, like myself. That was really very thoughtful! Wifi was excellent. I also think the value for money was very good at the time I was there (off season). I would stay at the congress hotel again.

There is quite a lot of noise from the street - traffic and people. Davos should really do something about the traffic! Not all staff members are equally friendly and attentive. Some more smiles and attentiveness would go a long way!

Wow! Great hotel, great location, very clean; The room size was totally ok even with a baby; we had the corner room, with a small terrace; loved the little touches for our little kid; they provided a small bathrobe, a rubber duck, and special toiletries just for her; the crib was actually a kid-size wooden bed, a little old but did the job; It was an old hotel which was renovated nicely; we loved everything about it and totally recommend it;

The hotel could be even better if the rooms were not set up to be heated as much as they are(you can adjust yourself fortunately). Also, I prefer a shower I can stand under.
