There was nothing to dislike

really nice and clean place. Friendly staff at reception and restaurant. As I was there for work I couldn't spend too much time on the premises , but they were having a lovely garden which I definitely would check out the next time

Loved the location and the decor. Rooms were really comfortable. Basement room (which my sons were in) was perhaps a bit dark compared to our ground floor room, but still very nice. Food was very good value and tasty, and the staff were exceptional - very friendly and genuine. Given the weather was a bit iffy, we really loved spending time in the reading room - a very comfortable and beautifully decorated space.

If I was being really picky, I’d say the basement rooms were just a little bit less nice. But we can’t really complain.

Our room was in the lowest floor, like in the cellar. Otherwise everything was fine.

Good access, with a bus stop 2 min away from the hotel that takes you to the gare; historical building but installations are modern. I was surprised to be upgraded to a double room since I was bringing my dog. It made my day! The room was very spatious, bed was amazing, and my dog enjoyed the sun in the varanda. Also, the hotel provided bowls and a dog bed. Staff is very friendly, both from the reception and restaurant. Overall, I was really impressed and will be happy to come back!

Not a dislike but an advice. If you don't choose half pension, let the staff know in advance if you would like to eat at the restaurant and when, so they are prepared. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge. A minor issue not directly related to the hotel, although there are some fields around for your dog to do their business, I didn't see any trash cans around.

1. Breakfast was poor. Only a few items. No abundance. 2. Time of closure of dinner is 19:30. Its too early and I could not make it on time due to conference commitments. 3. No gym facilities or pool

The staff were inflexible and rude, one of the least friendly hotel experiences I have had.

The dining room staff is lovely and kind. It was possible to diversify with the addition of some vegetables.

We are a retired couple from Israel. We stayed at the Edelweiss Hotel in Davos for 15 days. Nice hotel, clean and accessible to all sites in the city of Davos. Reasonable breakfast. However, the reception staff is unsympathetic and caused us unacceptable heartache. He rejected our credit 4 times and each time a different card claiming that the cards are not good even though we explained to him that they had a problem with the device. And when they found out, they didn't even bother to apologize. And not as usual they charged us on the first day of our stay at the place and not as usual on the day of departure like all the other guests. We felt rejected. When we asked why this behavior was not answered. Also, they flatly refused to allow us to bring in a small water tank to sit with different claims. It's a shame that such a nice hotel has an unkind reception staff. We would be happy to apologize. Moshe and Yehudit Kibbutz Alumim.

Very welcoming staff. The hotel is very quiet but very conveniently situated relative to the village central area.
