Having stayed here several times before, all was basically as expected - and if I didn't like it I wouldn't have gone back.
N.B. Location is excellent for a ski holiday, right next to the main lift. Buffet breakfast was very good and is exactly what is wanted on a winter trip
New shower unit could do with a little bit of a redesign - almost impossible to stop some water going out onto the bathroom floor. Needs a few more options (each night) for the evening meal - the meals were good but for some I would have preferred a different option on that day (ordered at breakfast would be fine, if necessary).

The hotel is merely metres away from the Parsenn main lift which makes it very convenient with 2 ski hire shops also by the lift.
All the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional- very welcoming.
Julia on the front desk requires a special mention, answering my many enquires (first time to Davos) and helping with reservations for lunch on the slopes.
Dining staff dealt very well with increased numbers over the New Year and the food was very good -we were half board with good choices each evening.
The rooms are a little tired , we were in the extended part, but not uncomfortably so .

The staff was working hard to get around the limitations of the property and responded to our feedback.
Breakfast was well-presented but wouldn't stand out at a 4-star property.
For skiing the Parsenn area, the location combined with the ski room is great.
The rooms have very thin walls and ceilings. You can hear your next door and upstairs neighbours with ease.
The drain in our room's shower was so clogged that we couldn't use the shower.
We were offered a new room in response. The new room was lacking curtains to block the outside lights.
Additionally, the soap in the spa area's bathroom was not refilled during our entire stay.
This shows a lack of attention to detail and made it hard to rest at night.
As a result, we checked out one day early. A request for partial refund was denied by the property management.

Great spa area.
Rooms are older and much smaller than what is shown on the webpage to an extent that I would call it lying. (They show pictures of a table with chairs, modern TV, spacious bathroom,… - none of that is true). And it is very noisy - you can hear people walking on the floor above and talking in the hallway until late at night.
The breakfast provides a large variety but all of low quality.
I went to many hotels in Davos over the last ten years and this was the most disappointing experience among all that I went to (and the only disappointing one so far). It feels like the hotel just aims to tick the boxes for 5 stars with the minimum amount of effort and budget. If you want a 5 star experience I’d recommend the Belvédère, otherwise any 3 star hotel in Davos should offer a better experience.

the location, the food (breakfast and dinner) was exceptional, the service and staff as well
the spa area was great but a bit small in comparison to other 5 stars hotels

- room size
- location and view
- breakfast
- Extremely bad electrical system (to start bathroom light at night was only possible if all lights in room were on)
- communication (some one hung up the phone on us)
- reservation was lost (needed 1 hr to find it when we arrived)
- No feedback and follow-up

This hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment you step into the welcoming reception with its inviting fireplace, you feel instantly at ease. The spacious room had a lovely natural wood scent, adding to the charm. The spa area was peaceful and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes.
A special shoutout to the restaurant staff—top, top, top! The service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Plus, being so close to the ski lift made everything even better!
The only thing missing was an après-ski bar, so if you’re looking for lively post-ski parties, this might not be the place. But if you’re after a relaxing, cozy, and truly enjoyable mountain getaway, this hotel is perfect! ❄️🔥⛷️

Location and room interiors!
Check in and check out time. Check out at 11:00 is what guest shall pay for shortage of enough housekeeping staff. Normally it is 12:00.
Not enough staff at F&B and most of them are not qualified enough. Absent of experienced staff!!
Front office people tried to be nice and friendly, but again looks that they are not keen to get return guests.

Very nice sized room, lovely atmosphere in the lounge, super breakfast, very well located next to the ski lift with good access around the town by bus.
The spa is underground and consequently a bit dungeon like.
