Lovely place to stay. Value for money.

The owners, Sonia & Chris, and all the staff were very warm and friendly. They really made us feel at home. The room was clean and cosy. Breakfast was very good. We also had dinner there on all 4 nights of our stay. Every dinner was delicious, especially the soups & the desserts.

Great stay, would recommend

Stunning view from the windows, hotel is a pleasure to look at, welll designed in line with the local style, yet modern where it counts. Staff was friendly and I recommend buying stay with breakfast. It's a good way to stack up energy before trips. Food is classic for the hotels but definitely quality and tasty with a good selection for a few nights

I'm hard pressed to find anulything, but the pillows could be replaced, they are big but the moment you lay down on it, your head will fall through :)

Very comfortable room, Good beds, nice bathroom, lovely terrace, the breakfast is amazing (really), the staff is super-friendly, the dinner they make for hotelguests (only if you want) is really delicious! They have a nice gardin for guests if the wheather is sunny/dry

Beautiful and peaceful

Recommend this place. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful view from the balcony, wonderful to sit on it and look out over all the mountains, nice and quiet area and such a good place to relax and take it all in. Lots of room to park cars. The bedroom was large and beds very comfortable. Bathroom was large, good working shower, a lovely clean and smart space (although the door is glass so there is no privacy). Lots of wardrobe space. A bar area outside downstairs to sit and have a drink or eat (the menu looked wonderful but sadly we didn't have time to try it). Breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. Recommend you need a car for this place, there are buses but they don't run late into the evening.

The only negative is that people are allowed to smoke on their balconies and the smoke of course flows into your own room, so much so that at first I thought we had been given a smoking room. But all rooms are non-smoking so it was just the smoke coming in.

bathroom is in glass so i would not recommend for people who dont like to be seen during showers. breakfast was ok, basic, not many choices for vegans. my companion who eats everything loved it tho.

Superb

This hotel is one of the cutest places on the planet Earth. The view is wonderful! The location is great, we’ve been walking to the Königssee for less then an hour incl stops for pictures and so on. The place was really clean, pretty and breakfast was also superb. The stuff is simply the best. Such kind and friendly people making you feel like home. Overall can recommend!

omg the view the view!! we were greeted with a warm smile and a helping hand. the rooms are spacious for German standards, parking right at the hotel. we will stay here again?

Beautiful property, incredible views, great breakfast and option for delicious dinner too. The location is great and provides easy access to Berchtesgaden, lake konigssee and eagles nest by car. The rooms have been upgraded and are very nice! The hosts are very kind and welcoming!

The hotel is just amazing! Stuff was super friendly and even prepared some lunch packages for our day trip! We fell in love with the rooms - super new and modern and extremely clean! The balcony was one of our highlights - amazing view directly to the mountains! Good wifi - quiet and worth the money! Free parking!

The breakfast was very fresh but as a vegan I had not too many options - I wish they go with the time and also think about their guests who do not want to support animal cruelty! Please consider more vegan options!

Wonderful Scenery, Excellent Service - Perfect for families with kids

Clean rooms and facilities, wonderful service and amazing breakfast. Great for families with kids. We, with our 7 year old had many opportunities in the neighbourhood, to have an amazing day out. Also try the fantastic restaurants along the "Jenner Bahn" and the popular kids spielplatz (playground) just next to them.

We travelled with a car so there were no problems. However, I would assume that you need a car to explore /appreciate the Schönau/Berchtesgaden area fully.

Exceptional

This is a really nice family-run hotel in a glorious position with all rooms having a spectacular view to the mountains. There's a nice garden with sun loungers and a terrace for relaxing with drinks etc (though during our 4-night stay in July it was never warm enough or dry enough to enjoy the outdoors setting!). The half-board evening meal was exceptional value for money always with tasty and interesting food.

Be clear about the location of the Georgenhof. It is about 3km and about 100m climb up from the railway station and the bus service is not very frequent. We had bikes and found the return journey up the hill an effort. But with a car, this place would be perfect - away from the busyness of the town and its main road.

Ein erholsamer Aufenthalt!

Wir haben dieses Hotel zum zweiten Mal bewusst gebucht. Die Lage ist für uns sehr ruhig und trotzdem nicht weit ab vom Geschehen. Es ist ein kleines familiengeführtes Hotel - sehr angenehm.

Das einzige wäre evtl.zum Essen im Hintergrund ein wenig Musik hören zu können.

Fantasztikus szálláshely gyönyörű vidéken.

Kiemelkedő tisztaság volt az egész hotelben. :) Külsőre beleillik az alpesi környezetbe, azonban belül teljesen felújított és modern. Igényesen van berendezve a szoba és nagyon jó minőségűek a fürdőszobában található tisztálkodási szerek is. Az ablakokból és a teraszről nagyon szép a kilátás a hegyekre. A recepción mindig elérhető valaki, nagyon segítőkészek és informatívak. A közelből indul a busz a helyi látványosságokhoz, amelyhez ingyenes jegy jár. A reggeli és a kiszolgálószemélyzet is nagyon szuper volt. Ott tartózkodásunk alatt nyugodt és csendes volt.

Sehr ruhige Lage, schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den Watzmann. Wenige Minuten zu Fuß zur Busstation nach Berchtesgaden oder zum Königssee. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen, das Abendessen immer schmackhaft und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und zugewandt, das Zimmer sehr sauber. Fazit: Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Es waren sehr schöne Tage im Georgenhof und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig mit herrlichem Blick auf die Berge. Nach wenigen Metern ist auch der Bus zu erreichen. Mit diesem kann man bequem nach Berchtesgaden und an den Königssee fahren.
