Quiet and magnificent view

The room with the balcony has a great view. Breakfast has a wide variety of sweet and savory. The room was spacious and included a minibar. It also has a bar and is a very cozy space.

It's in a very quiet location with a beautiful view of the entire valley. Perhaps you should use a car to go shopping.

We stayed here to explore Konigsee. It is a clean well managed hotel with wonderful helpful staff. They spoke english and very kind . Room was spacious and comfortable . Also great views down the valley

Its a little bit expensive, but i think thats the area overall. The room also had no aircon which didn’t help our sleep

The Perfect Austrian Adventure

This Hotel is absolutely incredible, we spent 5 nights here as our base in Bavaria as it was central to our needs, the facilities, rooms, restaurant, lounge and the outdoor seating area are all amazing, the views are breathtaking and the whole experience is one we will treasure forever. Thank you so much to Rico, Eva & Karen you made our stay so special and are a credit to the hotel. The traditional dress is beautiful and the way this family owned establishment is run is so genuine, service and standards are top notch and as someone who works within the refurbishment of hotels I am not easily pleased, but this place gets a solid 9 out of 10. Thank you all once again and we shall miss you and this hotel very much.

If we could produce a negative it’s that the rooms do not have tea/coffee making facilities within them.

Gorgeous location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with lots of options and always fresh. Lots of spacious parking available.

Hotel is a bit outdated and the shower was super small. They offer dinner but has to be pre ordered at breakfast time, so if you get there hungry you’re out of luck.

The breakfast was amazing!!! Eggs to order were delicious and the variety of fresh fruit was impressive. Dinner was equally amazing. I had salmon one night and steak the next and both were delicious!!

Beautiful property close to Berchtesgaden and Obersalzberg (Eagle's Nest).

Beauty of the hotel and the views from it. Very nice buffet breakfast.

The dining and bar facilities were closed on Tuesday, so we had to go elsewhere for dinner. We knew about this in advance, so this is not a complaint, merely an observation.

The road leading to property is quite narrow so can be tricky if you are not comfy with driving in such narrow roads. However once you are there, you will realize it‘s totally worth it.

Beautiful view of the mountains. A delicious breakfast comes with your room. The place is very relaxing. We had dinner there two nights and it was amazing!

I wish they had family rooms. We had to book a separate room for my teen daughter. I would have preferred a room with two beds to keep us all together.

The view is absolutely breathtaking! Breakfast was buffet style with many options. Our room was just what I pictured a room wood be like in such a scenic alpine setting, with large windows, balconies and comfy beds.

Stay in a fairytale

Fantastic place in the Bavarian alps. We were overwhelmed by the stunning view from the terrace. Wanted to stay for one more night but unfortunately there were no rooms available. We will definitely choose that hotel next time we come to Berchtesgaden.

Lovely quiet alpine setting.

Secluded scenic setting. Quiet. 10 minute drive to Berchtesgaden. Peaceful in the evening, just sitting on the balcony listening to the cow/goat bells.

Lack of complimentary water in room. Shower room was small and dated. Be aware, that the hotel charges for tap water in the restaurant, even if you have already ordered other drinks off the menu. The charge was €2 per 500ml glass. I was a little unhappy at this given it’s not a cheap hotel and the money we spent during our stay. We did not have this experience in other hotels on our road trip or in the many restaurants we frequented.

Wonderful Views & Delicious Meals

The views were absolutely amazing here. As soon as we checked in we went outside and enjoyed. The staff was very accommodating and brought us beverages. The breakfast was also delightful... One of the best European breakfasts we have ever had.

The balcony faced the hotel next store that was under-going construction.. So kind of an eye sore.

We liked it but it’s hard to relax here since food isn’t easily available.

It’s close to salzburg and you can drive to konigsee quite easily. The view is nice and the rooms are comfortable.

The place isn’t much of a “spa”. The pool is very small and underground, wasn’t appealing at all. And the dinner closes at 8, and as per Bavarian specialities is quite meat based. I enjoy bratwurst as much as the next person but I think it was fried in old oil or pig fat, so it had a very heady meaty smell to it. The breakfast has the usual spread of musli and so on and the staff accommodated lactose free options when you ask them, but even the eggs that serve had this “meaty smell”.

It won’t justify the beauty of this place by writing here. I would definitely recommend it to everyone to go there and experience it themselves. Everything was very well Managed by the staff, tidy, cosy rooms, and the breakfast was the highlight of the day.
