A relaxing stay in a fantastic location

Personel was super friendly. The Wellness center is fantastic, with several saunas, turkish bath, infrared, jacuzzi and lots of areas for chilling out.

We were in a confort room that is not renovated. Our friends stayed at a deluxe room which is renovated and the difference is substantial. Despite that, the room is ample and comfortable

A wonderful stay at the Alpenhof

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and we had our own balcony with loungers which was nice. The views were spectacular. Breakfasts were excellent and lunch/afternoon tea was available to all residents at no extra cost. There was a gorgeous wellness centre with beautiful heated swimming pools (one outdoor and one indoor) saunas and whirlpool all in a fabulous setting.

We ate dinners on two nights of our 4 day stay. The dinners were a little disappointing. The pillows 😌

Great secluded location near Königssee. The inner logistic of the hotel is not comfortable, though.

Dinner was exceptionally well cooked. The chef prepared the best wild game dishes we ever tasted. The breakfast choices were good. The rooms are of a good size, with a view. The hotel is very well located in a secluded area very close to main area attractions.

The hotel has an extremely chaotic system of stairs and passages, very confusing. The pool area and saunas are well below pair for the 4-star hotel. The only hotel lift is totally useless as it is not connected to both wings of the hotel. The hotel is certainly understaffed for a 4-star establishment. You need to do steps up or down or through many doors anywhere you go in the hotel.

Exceptional

The hotel is just amazing. I though it was a bit pricey until I actually checked in. After that I was regretting that we had such a short stay planned there, as I wanted to stay longer. - The hotel is surrounded by mountains and has a decently sized territory and an amazing view from literally everywhere. Including the nice view from our room's balcony on the mountains and the valley below. - The room was big with a modern bathroom. A lot of storage space. - There are two swimming pools with an amazing view on the mountains around. There is a huge spa area with saunas, salt room and literally anything else you can imagine. A lot of lounge areas both inside and outside to relax. - The breakfast was outstanding. And, once again, dining areas are located both inside and outside, and the majority of them have a view. I think there is also dinner and snacks included for some of the guests, as there was a dinner selection card available during the breakfast.

We had only a short stay there. Definitely coming back.

Nice stay in a great location.

Breakfast was good, staff were extremely kind and friendly, going out of their way to make thing right. Opening times of wellness and fitness were okay. Cleanliness was very good.

Little things that add up. Room was only half-renovated, part was stylish and new, other parts like curtains were probably from the 1980s. Pricey for what you got. Restaurant also rather expensive, even for an alpine resort.

Beautiful getaway with a spectacular view - FANTASTIC staff!

The view of Mt.Watzmann was picture perfect from my room, the spa area is very clean and relaxing with complimentary tea and water, highly recommend the half-board as their dinners are delicious and at such a reasonable price. The breakfast is also very robust - pancakes, two different types of scrambled eggs, cereals, meats/cheeses etc. The most fantastic part of the hotel is the staff. Kristof greeted me and walked me to my room and gave me so much information about the area. Everyone I met at the hotel was so kind and friendly and truly know the meaning of Hospitality!

The furniture of the room I was in is a little dated and could use refreshing.

Everything was excellent! I ordered a surprise for my partner for Valentines Day and it was delivered on time and it was exceptionally beautiful. The spa area blew our minds and we thoroughly enjoyed the outside jacuzzi and pool which were perfect temperature. The hotel was beautifully decorated in a cosy rustic style. Food was lovely too. Good proximity to the Jenner ski slopes, about a 5 min drive.

There was no free coffee included in the breakfast so we had to pay additionally for that. Got me a bit confused - most people need a coffee for breakfast.

Phantastisches Hotel, mit sehr gutem Essen, einem mega Wellnessbereich und einer super Lage!!!

Alles war phantastisch. Das Essen (sowohl Frühstück, 5-Gänge Abendessen, und die Möglichkeit des Mittagssnacks und Kuchenbüffet waren 5 Sterne!!! Die Lage Top! Sowohl zum Königssee, als auch zur Jenner Bahn super nah. Der Wellnessbereich TOP! Da einiges geboten wurde (diverse Saunen, Schwimmbäder etc.) war es nie voll und man hatte teilweise sowohl das Schwimmbecken, als auch die Sauna für sich alleine. Die Anwendungen waren auch mega!

Ich fand es schade, dass es keinen Wasserkocher und auch keine Getränke im Zimmerkühlschrank gab. Leider gab es kein Zimmer mehr ohne Teppichboden.

Zimmer 112 vermeiden!

Das Zimmer 112, ein sogenanntes „Superior Einzelzimmer“, befindet sich direkt über der Küche. Dies hat zur Folge, dass (i) zwischen 21:00 und 22:30 Uhr deutlich Lärm aus der Küche zu hören ist, insbesondere durch das Verräumen von Gegenständen, das Verschieben von Kisten sowie Reinigungsarbeiten; (ii) während der gesamten Nacht ein konstantes Geräusch einer Maschine wahrnehmbar ist (möglicherweise ein Generator, ein Kühlschrank oder eine Waschmaschine); und (iii) zudem der Zigarettenrauch der Küchenmitarbeiter zu riechen ist, die draußen in unmittelbarer Nähe rauchen.

Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen

Das Zimmer war für den Preis groß und sehr geräumig. Das Frühstück umfasste eine große Auswahl. Auch der Mittagslaunch und die Kuchentheke war eine große Auswahl vorhanden. Das Abendessen mit dem 5-Gänge-Menü was man optional dazubuchen kann ist es mehr als wert. Das Personal egal ob an den Rezeption, Restaurant oder Pool/Massagebereich ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ich wüsste nichts was mir nicht gefallen hat oder nicht zugesprochen hätte.

Wohlfühlhotel der besonderen Art

Es ist ein wunderschönes Hotel mit einem traumhaften Flair. Bei meiner Ankunft war der Aussenbereich wunderschön mit Lichtern geschmückt und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Essen ist super lecker und das Personal offen und herzlich. Wirklich ein Wohlfühlhotel mit einem besonderen Charme. Der Wellnessbereich hat einen traumhaften Ausblick und die verschiedenen Saunen laden zum Entspannen ein. Am Abend kann man sich gemütlich am Kaminfeuer oder an der Bar seinen Lieblingscocktail mixen lassen oder natürlich andere Lieblingsgetränke. Es ist ein Besuch Wert und ich freue mich auf meine nächste Buchung!

super Hotel

Das Hotel ist super. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut. In wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto ist man am Königssee oder in Berchtesgaden. Am Hotel hält auch ein Bus, der einen zum Königssee oder nach Berchtesgaden bringt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab viel Auswahl. Der Wellnessbereich ist groß und vielfältig. Entspannung pur! Mittags gab es ein kostenloses Buffett sowie Kaffee und Kuchen, auch sehr lecker.
