A weird experience

The room was clean and comfortable, the location is amazing.

There is no reception, the next day we got up and wanted to have breakfast, but there was no one even to tell us that is not possible. The restaurant downstairs was closed and there was not a single person in the building that could advise us. I think it’s just inadequate to be called a hotel and not have an even a basic reception with at least one person to assist the guests.

Good location comfortable, compact good sized bathroom very clean parking at hotel. Host available by text or telephone and answered questions very promptly good directions and communication Breakfast at hotel nearby very good at extra cost

There was a lot of noise coming from the restaurant below until very late at night sounded like glass bottles clanking and it went on for 1-2 hours.

Since we couldn’t sleep at the hotel, I can only give a negative feedback

Location in center of Spa city is very good

1) our room on the first floor was just above the bar, with music playing there until around 5 am (outside of Francophy festival timing , when late music Is pre-announced) We could not sleep at night at all , that’s the reason for very long ranking (1 out of 10) 2) no hotel stuff in the location and nobody to support to solve the problem with the music (bar/restaurant and hotel operated by different people, therefor our demand to stop music in the bar was not respected)

Great location, right in the middle of town and next door to the funicular. Lovely breakfast laid out ready and attentive staff to order drinks. Staff were friendly. Check in/out was quick and easy. Cute room with places to hang clothes, hair dryer, opening windows, and radiator that could be controlled from within the room.

Bathroom is a little small, with no ventilation or sound proofing. But it is a conversion of an old house, so might be expected. It was a very clean bathroom though!

Good

This is a quirky little hotel! I loved the location and the fact that they were so welcoming to me and my dogs, it was wonderful to have the park right outside and it was a quiet location due to having no passing traffic. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it seems very popular with locals. I arrived during some very hot weather, and the hotel took care to make sure the room was as cool as possible and added a fan in for me which was very kind. The room and bathroom were smallish but very clean, and I loved that my room was dual aspect with views over the park on both sides.

There was no mattress protector on the bed which was a little weird, and the room size was relatively small with no seating except the bed (I booked a large double which should have had some kind of seating). There's no soundproofing between rooms which was not an issue for me as nobody was in the room next door on the night I stayed but might be an issue for others. When I arrived, the road to the hotel was closed due to a military parade but the hotel didn't message me to let me know to expect that beforehand which I would have appreciated as it was confusing on arrival.

Great location in the centre of Spa with free parking

The hotel is situated in the centre of Spa and an ideal location for all the shops, tourist attractions and cafe's/restaurants. Free parking was a bonus and we were able to leave our car there for a little while after we'd checked out. We thought the continental breakfast was wonderful and very plentiful. All the staff throughout our visit were very friendly and helpful.

Great location and fabulous restaurant

Located at the entrance of a park in the city centre, the location is great. Rooms are basic but well maintained and clean, in accordance to ** expectations. The restaurant is absolutely fabulous serving both traditional and inventive dishes and all to impressive standards. Personnel is always friendly and helpful. Because of the location, the available private parking is a plus.

When we stayed mid May, there was a fair right in front of the hotel, playing loud music in the evening which devaluated the experience. Wifi is not secure, not a big deal but good to know.

The location, the restaurant and the decoration was excellent! They are pet friendly so I really appreciated that we could bring the dog with us, even to the restaurant indoors. We really had a very good time there with our dog!

The room was humid & a bit smelly. the bed was uncomfortable & a bit slanted. also 1 switch for all lights including the bathroom so when using the toilet in the middle of night, meant the whole room was lit. shower door missing
