Our favourite European hotel ♥️

The staff are amazing, so very helpful (I travel with a disability). The room was comfortable and everything we needed. Breakfast is exceptional, the best we’ve found in our European travels. We look forward to staying again every time we travel to Europe.

Nice stay with great view on Liege city

Hotel is 10 minutes walk from city center, with a wonderful view on the river. Rooms are very spacious, super clean and very comfortable. Roof top bar is a must. Restaurant at ground floor is nice, large choice of drinks and dishes for all budgets. Personal is professional and smiling

Got a free upgrade because they overbooked the regular double bed rooms. Ended up in a very nice room with a jacuzzi. Was great!

A good hotel but not satisfied for the parking

I personally enjoyed the breakfast. There was variety of things and they were great and fresh especially the juices. The room was awesome, a comfortable bed.

I was unfortunately disappointed for the parking as we had to pay 10 euro per day. For the price of the hotel, the parking could be free for the guests only. It's the first Van der valk hotel in which I had paid for the parking. Luckily, it was just for one night otherwise It would have cost us too much.

Good service

The hotel is located on the way in between the train station and the centre of the city. Superb breakfast, including fresh honeycomb and a glass of sparkling wine if you wish. The waiters are very efficient. BTW, the breakfast area is very well designed. So is the Sky-bar on the 10th floor - nice place to sip a glass of wine in the evening (only on Th, Fr and Sat, though). I got a very clean room, spacious, with huge and comfortable bed. A lot of TV channels to chose from.

The staff is usually very nice except the guy during check in who was not really welcoming and did not inform about anything, like breakfast time etc., if not asked. The rooms are supposed to be sound-proof, but they are not, and one can hear, for example, sounds of moving heavy chairs at ones neighbours.

I arrived very late for work and I had to waith a long time before getting a room, once I got a room it was not made up and stank (like someone had just done a number two). Again I had to waith some time to get a room. I had to ask for everything. For this price, I expected more.
