Very relaxing and re-energizing to be pampered by such a friendly staff!

Very friendly and super-attentive staff, who at times (breakfast, dinner) seem to read what wishes are on your mind. Excellent - daily changing - dinner menu, which we very much enjoyed. The ambience was very inclusive and friendly with all guests greeting each other, giving a family feeling. We'll be back!

Nice room, but there are better options in Slenaken

We stayed in a suite in the annex, a building two houses down from the main hotel. The suite was very large and comfortable and had an amazing view. The suite was quiet and comfortably furnished and the bathroom was modern and everything was very clean.

The food in the restaurant was mediocre, certainly for the price. The seating options very very limited and twice we were assigned a table next to the entrance to the kitchen, even though we asked in advance for a different table. The staff was polite but in a perfunctory way.

Excellent location, good dinner and wines and nice surroundings

Staff does not wear mask at all times- they find it “too warm” Having asked to put the sauna in they forgot. After pointing that out ( and we had to wait 45 minutes for it to get warm), there was no apology of any kind.

Romantischer Zwischenstopp

Familiäre Hotel-Führung. Besonders freundlicher Empfang (Vincent) - luxuriöses Ambiente mit vielen Details (bspw. Tischschmuck echte Rosen, echte Orchideen auf zentralem Restaurant-Tisch. Unterbringung im Nebengebäude mit freiem Zugang über die Terrasse zu Rasen/Wiesengrundstück. Romantisches Menü mit exzellenten Speisen.

Een rustig gelegen klassiek hotel in het mooie Slenaken

Het is een mooi en rustig gelegen luxe hotel met een klassieke inrichting. Vanuit het hotel kan je direct mooi wandelen en fietsen. Wij verbleven in een suite in de Annex 50m vanaf het hotel. De suite is ruim. De bedden zijn breed en comfortabel (niet hard). Er is een ruime parkeerplaats zonder kosten. Er zijn diverse terrassen en ook binnen zijn er ruimtes en hoekjes om bijv. te lezen. We genoten van een lekker en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Onder het hotel ligt een luxe zwembad en sauna. Het personeel is vriendelijk.

Geen opmerkingen. Jammer dat de sauna pas om 15:30 uur aangezet werd.

Wat een geweldig familiehotel!

Eigenlijk was alles perfect, het hotel, de kamer, het personeel en het eten. De familie Huls runt dit viersterren hotel al 60 jaar en mijn vrouw is er 24 jaar geleden voor het laatst geweest. Het bleek nog steeds een vriendelijk en gezellig, goed onderhouden hotel waar veel gasten al jaren terugkomen en elkaar kennen. Ook het personeel kent de gasten en dat werkt zie je. Iedereen is vriendelijk en wil het de gasten naar de zin maken. Het ontbijt is uitstekend en het bakken van een eitje op aanvraag is bijvoorbeeld mogelijk. Alles in een ontspannen sfeer. De maaltijden bestaan uit vier gerechten met de keuze uit vlees of vis. Slenaken was rustiger dan we gewend zijn en er staan meerdere horecagelegenheden leeg of te koop. Zonde, want het is een schitterende omgeving om toe fietsen en te wandelen en leuke uitstapjes naar Duitsland of België. We komen vast en zeker in hotel Romantik weer terug en ik sluit niet uit dat ook wij tot de vaste gasten gaan behoren.

Mooi statig hotel met goede bediening en ruime kamers

De bediening was geweldig. Erg professioneel en behulpzaam. Heerlijke pannenkoeken bij ontbijt👌🏻 Ruime kamers met regendouche en bad.

Wat we een beetje tegen vonden vallen was dat er geen koffie en thee klaar lag op de kamer. Geen idee waarom, want er stonden wel kopjes, een waterkoker en koffiecupmachine. Er zat geen water in het bubbelbad. Deze moet je eerst vol laten lopen.

Goed verblijf in leuk hotel, hebben er heerlijk gedineerd.

Leuk hotel met leuk terras. Ook goede kamer met leuk zitje. Mooie eetzaal, waar we zowel het diner als het ontbijt hadden. Siinds kort hebben ze een nieuwe kok en we hebben 2 keer echt heel lekker gegeten! Was jarig en werd verrast bij het dessert. Ontbijt was ook goed.

Mooie omgeving, maar het weer had iets beter gekund, maar daar kun je natuurlijk niet veel aan doen.
