Noisy room from lack of sound proofing & the room doors are the complete opposite of soft close to the extent that the room shook whenever someone entered a bedroom. Unfortunately the shower room also had a strange underlying drain smell. Both mattress & pillow were very hard.

Superb

Friendly people with lots of good tips for walks in the area. Great terrace with view over the valley. Can start a selection of hikes straight from the hotel. Very good breakfast and room facing west with great sunset views.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. Enough space in the restaurant even though the hotel was fully booked. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice walks start directly from the hotel. Nespresso machine in the room.

Minor details : fitted sheet on the bed was a bit small, no cup to rinse teeth (but I think this was for ecological reasons, no plastic which I can only applaud so this is actually also a positive point).

Enjoying a relaxed holiday

The hotel has a great ans easy going terrace, to chill and look over the gently sloping countryside. If the weather is not what you hoped inside you can use the hotel library or enjoy one of the boardgames the hotel has.

Heerlijk verblijf centraal in Zuid- Limburg

De Plank ligt mooi gelegen vlakbij Noorbeek en Slenaken. Het is prachtig wandelen in de omgeving. Ook Monchau is goed bereikbaar. Het ontbijt en Diner waren uitstekend verzorgd.

De tv op de kamer deed het niet. Na melding kregen we de tip de stekker er even uit te halen,maar dat had geen resultaat. Niet heel erg natuurlijk ,alleen een beetje jammer.

Voor een kort verblijf een prima hotel. Ook erg mooie omgeving om te wandelen.

Het ontbijt was prima verzorgt en erg lekker vers. Kamers was wat aan de kleine kant, anders dan de afbeelding bij het boeken deed vermoeden. Miste de afzuiging in de badkamer.

We hebben de 1e avond van het diner in het hotel gebruik gemaakt. De soep was prima en het hoofdgerecht was ruim voldoende, jammer dat je voor aardappels/friet en schaaltje salade apart moest betalen. Vlees (hertenbief) was volgens mij niet echt vers, was taai en niet lekker mals. maar verder was het goed en ruim voldoende qua hoeveelheid.

Heel gezellig familiehotel, vriendelijk en heerlijk ontbijt.

Jammer van de zachte matrassen en de bedden schoven steeds uiteen. Geen koelkastje en föhn, maar voor de rest alles dik in orde.

Het ontbijt was dik OK.

De kamer was veel te klein en ondermaats qua comfort. De verwarming noch de airco werkten.

Super ontbijt en diner was ook dik voor elkaar. We zijn wel vergeten de kamer sleutel bij vertrek af te leveren, kunnen we die per post terug bezorgen ? Of volgende bezoek meenemen? Sorry voor dat ongemak. Bert en Riikka Vreeswijk

Lekker ontbijt! Fijn dat er airco was in de kamer.

Kamer en badkamer waren erg krap, weinig ruimte om het bed heen. Voegen in de badkamer kunnen een opfrisbeurt gebruiken en water in de douche liep niet goed weg.

Super verblijf, Limburgse gastvrijheid!

Vriendelijke ontvangst, fijne kamer. Schone badkamer met prima douche. Wandelen gelijk vanuit het hotel. Hebben de auto niet meer nodig gehad. Diner en Ontbijt uitstekend. Voldoende keus.

Bedden waren aan de zachte kant. Was even wennen. Maar niet vervelend.

Heerlijk weekendje weg op een mooie locatie met vriendelijke mensen.

Prachtige locatie, hele mooie wandelingen in de omgeving. Vriendelijk personeel en het restaurant is ook erg lekker. Makkelijk ook dat je nergens anders heen hoeft.

De badkamer is echt heel klein en je wastafel in je kamer in plaats van in de badkamer is niet echt fijn.
