Clean and comfy, decent value for money, terrible sound proofing.

The walls are so thin that when the person next door spoke it felt like they were inside my room.

Guesthouse close to a tourist route

Close to the nature, surrounded by a nice village atmosphere.

This is not really a hotel, but a guesthouse. The facilities are from the last century, and you share the toilet and bathroom (admittedly, recently modernised) with many other guests in the hallway.

The size of the room was amazing, breakfast was great and the staff was super nice and helpful.

The shower in the bathroom was very annoying to use. And there were a lot of cobwebs n stuff on the walls.

Good value for money in a little cosy hotel

Simple but comfortable and clean little hotel. Good value for money. Very spacious room and clean bathroom. Decent breakfast. Wide range of options for dinner, including vegetarian, for an affordable price. Perfect for an overnight stay when you're walking the Krijtlandpad.

Not all members of staff were very friendly. We were doing a multiday hike and we arrived a bit wet because it was raining and didn't feel very welcome at first, while the hotel is advertised as "walker friendly".

De prachtige ligging. Vlotte bereikbaarheid. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Rustig verblijf. Lekker ontbijt en diner. Parking gratis en dichtbij.

Appartement is redelijk in orde. De deuren naar het terras gingen niet open. Jammer. Beetje verouderd, maar wel in orde.

Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant en het geserveerde 3 gangen menu was ondermaats van kwaliteit.

Prettige ligging, voldoende parkeerplekken tegenover het hotel. Goed verzorgd ontbijt.

Kamer was geboekt met zithoek, deze bestond uit 2 stoelen die allen op een rij naast bed konden staan. Bed was kort en laag.

Met de bus naar de te drukke Kerstmarkt van Valkenburg geweest, gevlucht naar de Ruïne en dat was de juiste keuze!

Gastvrij en goed, maar die trap….

De ligging, de gastvrijheid en de verzorging

Jammer dat er gaan lift is. De op- en afstapjes op de begane grond waren wat onhandig, maar de smalle trap met een bocht was een uitdaging voor mij en mijn stok. Als je een mobiliteitsbeperking hebt is deze accommodatie niet echt geschikt voor je.

Heel vriendelijke personeel, lekkere bedden en ruime kamer (appartement) en toplokatie.

Heel Klein ding; jammer dat we geen thee op de kamer konden maken.

Kamers waren prima en schoon en het eten was lekker.

Enige minpuntje zou zijn dat direct voor de kamer waarin ik in sliep de ingang van de terrasjes bij de kamers was. Hierdoor liepen er best vaak mensen langs het raam/deur van mijn kamer en keken bij mij de kamer op. Dat gaf een wat bekeken gevoel.

Ontbijt had iets ‘moderner’ gekund. Beetje wat je van een Duits wegrestaurant kan verwachten. Roerei uit een pakje. Niet te vergelijken met wat ze serveren in het restaurant, want diner was top.

Geschikt voor een overnachting op doorreis met scherpe prijs.

Mooi gelegen, heerlijk ontbijt.

Inchecken moet voor 21u, met mogelijke uitloop naar 21.30u zo werd ons verteld, er was niets te regelen. Toen we er waren bleek het café tot na 23u open en kon er wel later ingecheckt worden. Voor niets een moeilijke oplossing bedacht… In onze hotelkamer waren verschillende dingen kapot.

Locatie prima, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt en een goed restaurant

De kamers hebben geen airco. Het was er bloedheet, ook in de nacht. Op de kamer stond een goedkope ventilator (10 euro bij de action) en deze maakte zeer veel lawaai. Je kon deze ventilator s'nachts dus niet aan laten staan.... Werd het dus nog warmer. Er zijn geen verduisterende gordijnen, die houden de zon dus ook niet tegen. De schuifpui van onze kamer was verzakt, of defect. Stond altijd een beetje open, met als slot een houtje achter de schuifpui. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding was hier absoluut niet in verhouding!
