Overall - really nice accommodation and would recommend it.

The property is located in a very peaceful area, and the rooms were very nicely decorated. Modern and beautiful. We loved the unique way that breakfast was served and check in was easy!

We stayed in room 5 - the room was not well covered, whenever a light went in the main area on the room will lit up. Maybe recommending putting black out curtains and not sheer curtains. The toilet also didn’t have a light switch but we managed by just closing the door and blocking the light.

Nice location: green and lush

Toilet isn’t separated from the bedroom. Okay as a long standing couple but a bit weird as friends. You hear/smell everything. You don’t have any contact with hosts. Okay for us, but very impersonal. Efficient but not ‘warm’.

Beautiful setting with minor suggestions

We had a nice time at La Bel échappée - lovely place to relax and have a coffee in the morning. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, our breakfast baskets in the morning were adorable, and the room was clean and modern.

There is no staff on site so all communication was done via SMS. This meant that small issues identified when we arrived around 7 pm (needing an iron for a shirt for an event, our parking place being taken, only being given one pillow each and no extra blankets, etc) were not sorted until the next day (or not at all - we never received extra pillows!). Also worth noting that our bathroom didn't have a door! Worth bearing in mind if you are sharing a room. It also meant that the room got very bright at 4.30 am as the bathroom window didn't have a cover. Entering room is done via code, which makes a series of very loud beeps in the hallway. It may have been us, but we also couldn't get the television to work beyond one or two streaming apps installed.

Superb

Sanitary facilities were spacious and comfortable. The interior was excellent, and the wallpaper was beautiful. There was no direct communication with hotel staff, but they provided assistance via text. Breakfast was adequate.

Overall, the area was very clean, but I expect the cleaning staff forgot to sweep the floors.

Bathroom somewhat impractical (no proper shower, walls and floor not tiled) and I'm not a fan of open plan toilets Repeated electricity outages Given the room rate, the breakfasts could have been better - and why three rolls and one croissant for a room with two people? The absence of on-site staff makes everything feel a little impersonal

Clean and very spacious

We really liked the property. It was very clean and the rooms had a lot of space. They do not have staff so we don’t know how they are. We received a text message with a code for the doors and rooms. We liked it, and it was very efficient. The rooms have very nice facilities such as a large TV including Netflix.

Een ideaal vertrekpunt voor een mooie wandeling in de buurt. Daarnaast ook perfect om Val Dieu te bezoeken. Het was tevens een heel rustige locatie.

Heel aangenaam selfchecking verblijf in een mooie omgeving

Ruime, charmant gerenoveerde kamer 6 met grote douche. Vlak bij wandelroutes en de abdij. Ruime parking met verlicht pad naar de verblijfplaatsen, en met mooi terras. Ontbijt was netjes georganiseerd in manden en was ruim voldoende met goede producten. Prijs kwaliteit vonden we dit een topper.

Een extra mat aan de lavabo op de stenen vloer zou nog mogen tijdens de winter.

Rustig en schoon! Ontbijt is quantitatief ok, maar kwaliteit valt een beetje tegen in die zin dat er b.v maar 1 eitje beschikbaar is voor 2 personen. Verder is de badkamer weliswaar erg schoon, maar douchen in een badkuip zonder afscherming veroorzaakt een waterballet, niet erg comfortabel douchen zo.

lokatie, de manier waarmee je kon inchecken, niets aan toeval ovegelaten! Bereikbaarheid, de informatie, aan alles is gedacht. Informatie map in verschillende talen met de bezienswaardigheden in de directe omgeving. Ontbijt geurde in de hal van het etablissement!

kan ik niet bedenken wat tegenviel, vond het qua ligging en facilitair een goede uitstraling, Een stek die je in de naaste toekomst wederom zou boeken. Hond was welkom.

... mais 3 viennoiseries pour 2, 1 seul yaourt, que 2 capsules pour faire du café et 25 cl de jus pour 2. Sinon 2 fruits, du jambon et du fromage... Pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain, en decembre🥶 Impossible de regarder la TV, même avec le mode d'emploi 😥

Eine Wiederholung wert.

Altes Haus, geschmackvoll renoviert und mit Überlegung ausgestattet. Die Idee mit dem Frühstückskorb fanden wir klasse. Schöne Wandermöglichkeiten in der Umgebung.

Gerne hätten wir die Betreiber kennengelernt und etwas über das Haus erfahren.

Chambre sympa avec petit déjeuner complet

Petit déjeuner complet. Parfait pour 2 personnes. Sauf qu'une portion de beurre supplémentaire serait la bienvenue. Tous les préparatifs (email explicatif, code d'accès etc) fonctionnent parfaitement. Endroit très calme. Chambre bien agencée et décorée avec goût. Très propre. Parking sur la propriété, ok. Chambre avec baignoire, pas de douche. Présence d'un système d'airco, nous n'en avons pas eu besoin mais pour l'été, c'est certainement utile puisque dans les combles.

Aucun personnel sur place donc si vous appréciez le contact avec les locaux, c'est pas le bon endroit. L'accès à la chambre 4 (dans les combles) via un escalier en colimaçon très étroit n'est pas évident et déconseillé pour les personnes ayant des difficultés pour se déplacer. Et si vous êtes grand, attention de ne pas vous cogner la tête aux différentes poutres dans la chambre. L'emplacement de la TV dans cette chambre 4 est un peu perturbant; on ne peut pas la voir du lit.
