Studio Lodge - Cincinnati - Springdale

We liked NOTHING about this place. The pictures you posted are not what you get. False advertising!!!!

It was horrible, we didn’t stay couldn’t stay stay. The whole place smelt like cigarette smoke, our room (206) smelt like mildew & smoke. Mold around the tub and on the walls, bathroom wasn’t clean, holes in the walls of the bathroom.

Nothing!!!

Vicious dogs that employee had to run to laundry room for safety. People have already been bitten. Complained to motel manager one day. Next day I was told I had to get out. Never mind I had been there since July 13, 2025. Said had to go or they would call police to set out belongings. If you're already there, BEWARE, they will retaliate. Now I'm homeless.

There was no breakfast that I knew of I would not have eaten it. They have roaches

They need to get rid of the roaches they have at this hotel.

The property was dirty. The bathrooms were dirty. The floors were dirty. There was mold in the bathroom, just all not clean cigarette smoke was throughout the place so thick. I sleep with a CPAP machine and I could not use my CPAP machine because the cigarette smoke would be inside. My CPAP machine will then need to be sterilized so we had to leave that and go and find another hotel for me to sleep at.

That it was dirty and the pictures deceivable the pictures look nothing like what the property look like.

The staff was pleasant. The toilet and TV worked. We wanted to be close to several attractions in OH. No bedbugs.

This was one of the most unpleasant stays I have had at a hotel. The photos of the hotel on the website are from when the hotel was a Studio 9 hotel, which must have been a while ago as the rooms look quite different now. When we arrived at the property during check-in hours, the front door was locked and there was a spot to tap card keys, so we had to be manually let into the building. Once we got our room key, the hallway to our room was run down, had exposed wiring, and smelled like smoke and air freshener. As soon as we entered the room, we spotted two roaches that went under the toilet and baseboard in our room. We slept with the lights on overnight as we did not want them to come back out (though one made its way back onto our bathroom door in the morning - see picture). We were given the wrong room (two fulls instead of a queen) and immediately noticed how run down the room was. The walls were patched up and had not beenbothered to be painted, and the bed did not fit on the bed frame. There are signs to take out your own trash, but no trashcan or bag were provided. Our bathtub was patched up and did not feel particularly clean, and we found hair in our bath towels, so we did not feel comfortable showering in this hotel. The door has a sign to lock both locks and it appeared that our door had been slammed into while the security latch was on, which made us feel unsafe. This hotel was so disgusting that we tried to spend as little time there as possible. We left after checking in until late in the evening, and when we returned we tried to get in the front door with our keys, neither of which worked. Fortunately(?) the back door was propped open all night and we were able to enter through the back as no staff is in at night and we would have had to use the phone on the front of the building. It was not a great night. During the night, there were dogs barking loudly in the hallway and people yelling. We left as soon as possible and will not be back.

We drove 8 hours to get to this hotel. 30 mins before arriving we were told that they couldn’t accommodate us. They told us we need to cancel our reservation and book somewhere else. Also they informed us that it will take 30 days to get a refund. They did not offer any compensation and didn’t show any compassion for the situation they put us in. It took us a few hours to find another hotel to accommodate us because most hotels were fully booked. I will never book or recommend this hotel because they don’t care about the guest.

Convenient, decently quiet, good rates, clean room.

No trash can in our room, but that was probably by accident, not a big deal.

Location is great. Staff 2 ladies up front were great. Was asked to see the room first, chose not bc only there for one night. The bed was actually pretty comfortable

Smelled like stale cigarettes in the room. The shower was nasty, and dirty floors. Heard a dog barking all through the evening/ night. You get what you pay for I guess. I have stayed at other locations in the same area and have gotten some nice rooms for the price they are charging.
