Nice location and spa bath
The mattress in 116 needed attention. I almost feel in when I sat on the edge

The room was quite big and it had a microwave and small fridge. Also, the beds were comfortable.
It was on the main road and our room was on the side facing the road.

We had a large room that was quite unique. The included spa was big. Half the walls had mirrors on them, but I felt that it made the room seem even bigger. I liked that for some reason. The bed was comfortable, which is the only thing that really matters in the end of the day. Also, the guy at the front desk was friendly and professional.
The location is excellent, placing you within a 3-5 minute walk to the gas station, the beach, a nice breakfast restaurant and another lunch/dinner restaurant.
The heater was too loud. It woke me up every time it turned on, which was once or twice an hour. However, I am always a light sleeper when I travel, so I suppose anything would have woken me up. Also, there is a vending machine that takes either cash or asks you to download an app to pay with your phone. Please, for the love of god, just add credit/debit tap to pay. I really don't want to have to use an app for everything. I had to walk to the gas station for a drink. Other than that, there was nothing else that bothered me.

Stay was great, property allowed late check out! Room was nice, enjoyed fireplace. Free coffee in lobby!
Hot tub seems to look a little old, missing jet.

The room is like no other. This is the only hotel I stay when I am in Tahoe. Best place hands down. The fireplace, hot tub, open shower, and large room make this hotel my favorite to stay.
Nothing to not like. Would not change a thing.

Has a great location
The water pipes are too noisy, if someone takes a shower late at night , the sound is impossible to ignore, you can hear people walking in the room upstairs,

I really can’t think of one good thing to say about this place.
The first room was dark and dingy. The second was a little better, but some of the lights didn’t work, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, and they are doing construction right next to the property that we weren’t warned ahead of time about, that started promptly at 0630.

Very nice room and the fire pit
The bear that got in the back of my truck and scratched my painy

Very clean. We may have had a larger than average room, but it was very spacious. We had the opportunity for cleaning services every day. Coffee available in our room and in the reception room. There was a gas fireplace outside with multiple chairs and tables. They have bikes to use for free.
The bathroom door is frosted glass - why? The light comes on in the bathroom upon entering. Using the bathroom in the night, if others are sleeping, is bothersome to those attempting to sleep. The refrigerator did not have a dial accessible and must have been set to the coldest temperature as our fruits and veggies froze.

The location is nice
Dirty and not maintained room, smell of cigarettes and no hot water at 6am.
8.0 / 10.0
No breakfast, but first rate gourmet locally roasted coffee and teas
Unfortunately, our fire place reserved room was not available due to a plumbing issue. It would have been nice to be notified prior to arrival or at least be given a discount. The night manager was not the most personable (unlike the stellar morning staff) and a bit curt when I notified him of the error when we saw our room #134 for the first time.

From the second we walked into the lobby it was such a peaceful feeling. The staff was quick, efficient, and friendly. We were walked outside, shown where we could park, and how to get to our room. We stayed for our anniversary; our room was beyond amazing. Comfortable King-sized bed (covered in rose petals), wall fireplace, and an in-room hot tub that is HUGE! We absolutely loved the Postmarc and will be back!!
There is currently a new building being build next to the Postmarc, however this did NOT affect our stay.

We have stayed here several times now. The bed is comfortable, the tub is amazing, the room is always clean.
Facilities are starting to look more worn down. We were actually in a room we stayed in previously and there was significant damage to the tile near the fridge that wasn’t there the last time we came.

We have stayed there several times and it is consistent. The rooms are huge. The hot tub bath for two is comforting. My only statement would be that the Room’s are getting tired and could use refurbishing however they are clean and the staff is very kind.
Just as I mentioned above, it’s time to refurbish these rooms, particularly the carpet

Very good location in South Lake Tahoe. The hotel is nice and cosy , the room of the two queen beds is comfortable for a family with two kids. Not too fancy, but good. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Big Room, Spa and shower were very nice! The mini frig was nice to have.
Mattress was soft. Seems like they could use new mattress's. Carpet in the hallway and room can be updated. A better coffee would be nice in the lobby.

The AC was broken, the microwave was broken, and the shower was extremely outdated and broken.

The location was good.
My room had old stained carpet. The stairs had old stained carpet. The room smelled. I will not be staying here again.

Little outdated and pricey.

I liked how they had complementary beach cruisers to ride.
No elevator. I’m 9 months pregnant and had to haul all my beach equipment to the second level due to no stairs.

The room was spacious enough, the "spa" hot tub looked dated, but overall, a good experience.

Great location. Great service. The room was comfortable.
No elevator so we had to carry our baggage up and down the stairs. But, staff was very helpful and assisted us.
8.0 / 10.0
The front desk clerk was very friendly but unfortunately the family before took a long time to check in as their funds were limited so the wait to be tended to ran to almost 25 minutes.
The toilet would run as the stopper in the tank wouldn’t fall flat into the hole. I had to keep taking the tank lid off to jiggle the metal chain link to the rubber stopper to get it to work properly
7.0 / 10.0
AC didnt work very good. The fridge was off . We had to turn it on to cold . Bathroom toilet is small room.
8.0 / 10.0
It was convenient location, close to food and beach.
Stale smell, hot inside, smelled marijuana every time we came in. Room chairs heavy used, no cushion left in them.
Needs some upgrades.

Edit: For the Owner:
Your response as an owner isn’t just disappointing, it's deeply concerning. It’s clear you’re not truly apologetic; your sarcasm speaks louder than your apology. A sincere apology means taking accountability and showing a willingness to improve, and none of that is present here.
You and your staff were not “verbally abused.” My husband spoke firmly, but respectfully, with an incredibly rude staff member over the phone who, for 10 minutes, refused to refund us and was adamantly (and incorrectly) insisting we had stayed the night—until we mentioned the security cameras. That staff member clearly lied about what transpired, I was there the entire time. My husband never raised his voice or used foul language. He was understandably frustrated but handled himself with far more professionalism than your staff did. The fact that you would lie about verbal abuse is more disgusting than the state of your hotel. It’s not only unprofessional, it’s immoral. If you don’t want people to be upset with you or your staff, then don’t provide unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Someone asking for a refund for a room they never stayed in is not verbal abuse. Do better.
This wasn’t just a matter of crumbs or hair on the floor. There were serious safety violations, like dangerously rickety flooring around a tub on the second story, strong smells of mold and mildew, and more. That’s not just unsanitary, that’s straight-up dangerous. The fact that you’re brushing this off instead of addressing it responsibly is a giant red flag for anyone considering a stay here. Potential Guests: please re-read the owner’s reply to these documented issues. This is how they handle genuine safety concerns.
I truly hope no one gets hurt as a result of your negligence. To turn this back on us and lie to suggest we were abusive is not only false, it’s shameful. Echoing your own words, we “truly hope” you stay far away from travelers expecting decency, safety, or truthfulness. Do better.
Leaving to stay at The Landing instead! We were really excited because we had stayed here in 2017 and it was wonderful! Well nothing has been updated or cleaned since, we did not stay for longer than 15 minutes, this almost ruined our honeymoon, our room was disgusting and not suitable to rent. We immediately requested a refund and felt that we had been mislead with the listing photos. Staff did not care, showed us even worse rooms when we complained and dismissed completely unsanitary and unsafe conditions. In some of the rooms the carpet was torn up and tack strip with exposed nails were right in high traffic areas leading to tubs! Each room was worse than the last.
The misleading photos on the listing! Unsanitary and unsafe conditions of the rooms, All of the cracked and loose tile with no grout, the grime stains and buildup in the showers and tubs, all of the holes in the walls and exposed sheetrock, the disgusting stains underneath the pillows, the general smell of mildew throughout the entire establishment, the state of all of the furniture, the structural integrity of the 2nd story floor near the outdated and disgusting spa-tub, the attitude of the staff, the state of the linens, the putrid carpet in the hallways, the overall sensation of unease-SO MUCH MORE- they should be ashamed for staying open. Its unsafe and unsanitary, they have very questionable morals and business practices, and they tried to strongarm us out of a refund. Don't stay here.
