Was amazing!

We like everything since we got there. Was simple, but very very cozy with everything that we need. Everything was very clean. The fire place was great. The location couldn't be better. We enjoyed so much our stay. Definitely we're coming back.

The only thing was missing was an stove so we could cook. And more utensils.

Cozy room with excellent location right by Heavenly resort.

Small cozy room with cabin like decor and a lovely gas fire place. Everything we needed for two night stay. Clean room. It's a motel but a cozy one.

No check in staff / desk on premises. This was not an issue for us but if we had one, I don't know if there would be.anyone to talk to. It would also be nice to include a couple mugs to use with the microwave; there was no practical way to make a cup of tea.

Came here for honeymoon and would gladly come back again

It was a beautiful room to stay in. Great outdoor sitting for a mornin cup of coffee. The heating worked wonderfully as well as the rest of the appliances. This is where we had our honeymoon and glad this is where we stayed.

Very cute little place conveniently located.

The location was great, the cabins were decorated great.

I thought it needed more lighting it was dark in the bathroom and the closet. The TV was very difficult to use, I could get local channels. And very snug in the room.

I had a wonderful time & relaxing stay in Lake Tahoe.

I loved Dancing Bear room. I am a single woman traveling not far from home. It was my first time time traveling with my 2 small dogs. There is a nice big lawn and an open lot across the street, and a dog friendly beach. Room was very small, but very cozy with cabin decor. Location was very quiet at night. Nook had coffee, toaster, microwave & mini fridge. Hospitality greeted me when I arrived, and assisted me to my cabin. Price was very reasonable for off season. Location is close to lake, shopping & restaurants. Dog friendly beach was very close. My stay was peaceful & relaxing, and I look forward to returning next Fall. V

Be sure to make note of square footage of room you book, so you &/ family will have enough room. If you like modern decor, this is not your place.; It’s cabin style which I liked.

Quaint and clean, but not really anywhere to sit inside the room other than the bed.

Needed more seating in the room, there were lots of places to go sit outside the room but we had a couple days of rain.

Light was not working from the start in the bedroom area Heating was too complicated, but no proper blanket Smoke sensor battery was low and woke us up in the middle of the night with a repeating high tone sound

Good spot for a good price

Excellent location for the money. Room was clean. Location was quiet and the fireplace was nice. The price was excellent for also being pet friendly with easily walkable areas for the dog. Also easy walking distance from food and literally down the hill from ski parking.

Bathroom shower needs some TLC.

Very charming and rustic room. Had all we needed. We booked this room because of other reviews. Another guest we talked with admitted the same. We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay. Just a note, no office and all contact was by text or email. Door was a combination sent to you. Worked great as we had no problems.

Room was clean, well equipped and location was good.

This is an autonomous motel, there is no one on site. Room was small but well equipped and clean. Bathroom was very small, could not open door all the way and opened the shower door at the same time as doors over-lapped. Shower was quite small, I am 6' and average weight, if I was taller and/or over weight I would not have been able to fit in the shower. Toilet seat was smaller than the toilet itself so when you used it you always felt the rim, but again bathroom was clean and well equipped. They do not use fitted sheets on the nattress, but use flat sheets which I personally do not like as they don't stay in place.

the location to the mountain

very basic for the price. bathroom door only shut if you slammed it. shower door didn’t close all the way. with all the snow they barely cleared the parking lot. cars we’re getting stuck left and right.

Well the snow plows left a wall of snow which “stranded” a guest for a bit until we could dig her our. Nothing the resort could do but don’t come here without snow tires and/or chains!

Heavenly Valley Lodge with a service dog

The location was ideal and close by to shopping, restaurants, parks, and the lake- close enough to walk to pretty much anything you could need. Very easy to find, the layout was simple and convenient. There was a large and well maintained grassy area for our service dog to play and utilize that was green, watered, and clean with beautiful trees and well lit at night with a fence separating it from the busy street. The lodge was very quiet and we never saw another guest but also rarely saw staff, only once during our stay and so it was difficult to ask for anything. However, we didn't need much during our stay, everything was already provided pretty much- towels, extra blanket, coffee and creamer and sugar, kitchenware, wifi and password, and more. The king sized bed in our room was by far one of the comfiest beds we've had in all of our travels and very large, the TV had any streaming service app you could want and already logged in to accounts to utilize. The Lodge also has pet friendly rooms and never bothered either of us about my wife's service dog which is rare. Definitely an amazing place with great amenities and value. 12/10 would stay again.

Only a few dislikes were how rare it was to find staff anywhere doing anything so if you did require anything it wasn't very easy or quick to get. The room did get very warm very quickly even with the fans going. And although it was very convenient that the rooms have keyless entries and check in at a front desk isn't necessary we disliked the fact that the passcode was what it was and so easy to guess and that to there was no dead bolt, only a little chain so it just didn't feel very secure. Oh and no curtains only blinds so a lot by of light was able to come in day and night. Miniscule issues with mostly simple fixes and the pros definitely outweighed the cons.

Wonderful way to celebrate our 50th anniversary!

Cute decorations in cozy rooms! Wonderful to have a coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave in the room! Staff was just a phone call away when unexpected issues arose.
